Broward College-South Campus — Local services in Pembroke Pines

Broward College is a great college and it has made a reputation out of it. The Broward College south campus is one of the biggest campus of BC, but it still has relatively speaking small classes, which is great to keep focused in the class. This campus has a lot of things, big open spaces, a shop, many buildings which are in nice conditions, it’s classrooms are modern, has a cafeteria and a few restaurants around, many tables spread throughout the campus, almost human size chess boards, a public library, and more things… The library is also great, it is usually crowded but it still is a quiet place, perfect to study, with a great environment. The parking space at the campus is very big so you will never have a problem of riding a parking spot. It is next to a small airport, and is nice to see how the college collaborates. Almost every week there are small events made by college, were you can easily participate for a few minutes and learn, have a good time, help and almost certainly get a free meal or another prize. And if you have a big block of free time between classes, you can always go to a salon for students were you can play pin pon, pool, and even some video games. Is a great a campus to go study and...

Awwwww it’s to much to say , but i know what i can say . I never been to another campus before I always attended north campus. I was encouraged by my advisor to try another campus , it was far from my home but I made it to the end of theses eight weeks . I had to take Spanish (1 ) I was nervous , a little anxious wasn’t for sure even though o hard great information about this location especially about the professors . I will like to think my professor Lopez, Mildred , she made me felt comfortable in her classroom from day one until the end . I went into knowing small Spanish words ( vocabulary) and couldn’t understand them . During theses eight weeks I have understood Spanish she was very professional with clear language English and Spanish. She didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all , if any students who is reading this and you speak English i highly recommend this Professor and location. First day on this specific campus and what a day! First off the elevator in building 66 crashed into the roof and made a lightning sound with 8 of us on there. It was Stuck for a quick minute and took us to the first floor and back to the second floor without opening. I’m super healthy and athletic, but ended up having a light panic attack to where I was dizzy and couldn’t even catch my breath. Then I make my way over to the library where the worker looks schizophrenic and had a very hostile attitude. She was alone with a long line and didn’t know when my book would be in stock or who can give me answers. Her colleague was on break and she had no clue when she’d be returning- I could never at my job. Me and some other classmates asked for her name and manager and she responded by asking for our names. I couldn’t help but laugh. I really hope this campus gets it together, looks like I’m going back to...
