Do not take your vehicle here unless you have all the time in the world. They have very poor time management. I called to get an appointment to have my car diagnosed for 830 on a Wednesday morning. I got there a little early 815 as they open at 8. Office wasn't open because the office person was not there yet. She came rolling in a 817. Walked passed me to open door and did not acknowledge me. I followed her is as she is huffing and puffing sounding like she is annoyed. Salaams her keys and belonging on the desk. Then said "what do you need?" I told her I had an appointment. She grabbed a form played it in front of me said fill this out then began talking to siri to get music going. After filling out the form I gave it to her. I called about 430 to ask if they found out what was wrong and they said they were just taking it in. I asked if someone would call me to let me know what they found out he said yes. I did not hear anything from them until I called them back later the next day. They told me what was.worng and said they would call the warranty place as soon as they made a list of parts and got estimate for the repair ready later that day. I called the next day they had not done it yet they would do it that day. I called.back Monday they said they would definitely have estimate done that day and then call the warranty place. They finally did because when I called back the next day they said warranty was only going to pay 1500 out of the 2500. But then agreed to work with me on the price. The next step was to order parts. 2 days later when I called back to get update they said they still had to order parts. After 3 weeks (on a Monday) they said they were taking it around lunch time and should be ready by the time they closed. I never heard anything so I called on Tuesday. They said later that day it would be done. I called that evening they said a truck had broke down on the alignment machine and they would have to get it off there to be able to finish mine would be doelne by Thursday. Thursday the truck was still in machine. They finally finished my car Friday. I discussed my frustrations with them. They told be they get overwhelmed by the amount of qork they have (but imnsure most people would rather be upfront with them that they cannot get to their car in a timely manner than them takenit and not be able to work on it) They attempted to blame the warranty which I know they had an issue with them paying because warranty cannot pay the surcharge fee that is charged for a car. But the warranty place did not cause the lack off communication from them to me, the delay in diagnosising, the alignment issue delay in ordering parts, ect. 1 week after they fixed replaces the power steering pump and steering rack all they power steering fluid leak out. I will give them credit they came got the care fixed it in one day. They each apologized. The pump continued to make a winding sound but I'm not taking it back to them. I have heard from several people since they had similar experiences. Almost every time I called the woman in the office acted like she couldn't stand her job until they had to take it back and fix the gasket then she was apologetic...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm going to tell this story because it needs to be told in the garage is going to know exactly who it is but I don't care.
My car got stuck up in the mountain and needed to be towed out and there were only two shops in town with the ability to do so Rudisill's charge me close to $1,000 to get my car back to the city. After the winch they tried to use to pull my car back to snapped and caused significantly more damage to my car because it was pulled back about 2 ft and then their cable snapped and 3,000 lb of car slammed into a rock and that I had barely touched and was the cause for the toe. They made absolutely no effort and barely took responsibility for what they did to my car. Their concession was $150 towards the labor when there was at least a $450 piece to my car that was damaged and broken because of them.
Once the car was back in townI was then told that I would be charged $50 a day if they weren't doing the work on my car. So I agreed thinking that my car would be worked on in the next week it turns out the garage was 3 weeks behind on projects and then they had a vacation so it was going to be almost 5 weeks before my car could be touched and I was without a vehicle.
After I argued with him at the 3-week mark they told me they would get to my car as soon as they got back from vacation. I will preface this with a fact that my car did not have full coverage and so everything that was being paid was out of pocket so I was finding used parts and aftermarket parts on my own to get the best prices because they weren't putting in any effort to save me money.
It's now been almost 3 months since the accident and the repair and every week I'm finding new things that they did absolutely shoddy work and most mechanics would find uphorrent. They used bumper that I found for my car was in perfect shape and when they attached it to my car they didn't pull out the broken pieces of the bumper that they pulled off and so they just shoved the new bumper over the old spots with pieces of plastic still in there. So when I got the car back the bumper didn't line up right and I wasn't sure why I thought it was just because it was a different year turns out they ripped the old a bumper off probably as quickly as possible instead of detaching it they're correct way and then just shoved the new bumper in and put a screw in one side to keep it there.
This week at 10/18/2025 I was working under the front of my car because the attached bushing in the photo had popped out in the middle of a drive. This bushing is part of the $450 piece that they said they could push back together that they broke when their cable snapped. This piece holds in the radiator and the condenser.
Overall I was charged $2,500 and I probably would have said I got $200 worth of real service from them and that took 4 weeks to get. Never use this shop. If your car can't move under its own power and is being towed tow it to christiansburger Blacksburg pay that extra to get it over the mountain and get a mechanic that will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe meant to leave this review last month, but forgot. We have 2007 Malibu with an evap leak that was practically impossible to remedy. Greg, charged us the first time for what was supposed to fix it and replaced several things; however, it was a lot more complicated and did not fix the problem. He had us bring the car back several times until it was finally fixed. Greg, is always honest and trustworthy!!! He kept his word and did not once charge us for any extra parts he had to purchase, and neither did he charge for any extra labor, even though more hours went into this. This is a trustworthy place always with reasonable prices. You may have to leave your car their awhile...but it is well worth it! We are very thankful for Greg and his team which always works to treat the customer right, for the lowest cost possible with car repairs. Thank you all for your time, help, professional work, and always going the extra mile. It really makes a difference! Thank...
