The fields are great and well maintained. It is a beautiful complex. I do have to say the NO WAGON policy is the first I have encountered in all my years of travel ball. I have Multiple Sclerosis and carrying my chair and my child’s chair with my bag and purse my medical cooler and keeping my small child with me is a feat I am not physically strong enough to take on. I’m a single mother dealing with this on my own. I have to say, I was taken care of and taken to the field and picked up in a golf cart during the last tournament by staff, except for once being left with all my gear during a torrential, violet storm when we were all asked to evacuate. Luckily some good samaritans came back to help me get to safety. I just wish I was able to fend for myself and use my wagon and not depend on staff to transport me. I felt more disabled than I am and everyone was looking at me bring carted around. Walking is not my problem it’s weakness, strength and heat intolerance. After I was forgotten I was very anxious that it was going to happen again. Mind you, I had a walkie talkie to communicate with staff... during the time I was left in the storm I made several attempts to contact staff by voice and used the call button to alarm them as well. I know it was an oversite but if you insist on NO WAGONS to assist people even with a disability then you take on the responsibility of getting a person to and from the fields and this includes watching out for them in an emergency situation. Also, I did not see anywhere that if you need assistance to contact them. The young staff is trained to turn away anyone with a wagon but they are not trained to offer help to those in need. ( I was turned away last year even after explaining my disability to the entrance staff.) With about 20% of the population having some type of disability I did not see even one other person in attendance with a walkie talkie or being carted around. I can’t be the only person in need. I feel signage is needed for those with a special need or disability. Lord knows you have enough signs saying what’s...
Read moreWalked in drenching rain from far away parking spot , with a toddler in my arms, to see my daughter who was playing volleyball for 5 minutes (!!!!!), and the teens at the door told me to pay for the whole day..... REALLY ?????
Unorganized parking lot. Also, inside the “ bubble “ very filthy-will not sign up to play there ever again.
Very unhappy.
And yes-no outside beverages allowed?? It’s called RACKETEERING.
Just read a “ response from the owner “- ( be a professional and identity yourself in the future!)- “ a harm to others” by bringing my own drink??? I am not drinking alcohol, I just like my own tea/coffee made a certain way, and do not want to BE PRESSURED to buy it from your vendors. Was stopped by one of your “ drink police “ by having a sippy cup for my child- she was trying to grab it-hands off my child’s stuff, first of. Secondly, see above. So, no, your lousy response is not acceptable. As for other issues, again-not acceptable. You just blew smoke into ppl’s eyes-people who PAY YOUR PAYCHECKS. Fyi.
Absolutely...
Read more1 cost to play and the watch a bit much. Way over priced at the concession stand. Not allowed to bring in water. And what kind of dumb rule is it that you're allowed to bring in coffee until 10:30 but not after that. You cannot bring your Wagon in because the guy at the gate cuz they're trying to protect the concrete. That makes absolutely no sense. They will go through your purse book bag whatever you have and make you take the most random things back to your car. Had a package of gum they said can't have that take it back to your car someone had a granola bar and their purse that was clearly old and they made them throw it away or they were not permitted to go in overall the kids at the gate are not super friendly but tolerable. The bald-headed gentleman with glasses and a gray beard completely rude been there the last three tournaments we've gone to definitely needs a...
