Super disappointing theater experience. I’ve been to this theater a few times and many others and haven’t had issues. Maybe this was just a bad night or one off experience I don’t know. A few weekends ago I went to an IMAX showing, preordering my ticket and food. Every other AMC I’ve been to you preorder food and it’s ready at your preorder time or they efficiently make it right then for you. I check in with my ticket easily. Then I go to get my food and it’s not at pickup. I ask an employee near by and they say nothing. So I’m guessing they’re making it then as they were making pretzel bites which is what I ordered. For roughly 10-15 minutes(also 10-15 minutes after mine were suppose to be ready) they sit making several different orders of pretzel bites for other guest. I go to a manager and simply ask hey I had a preorder not sure where it is. So they tell the person that was making food to get mine made and hand me my cup. I sit and wait patiently for another 15-20 minutes, which was now 40-45 minutes after my food was suppose to be ready and it’s still not ready. They the whole time spent making other flavors of pretzel bites for different people. At this point my movie I’m guessing was already starting so I’m a little annoyed. Finally they set down two pretzel bites but they’re salted pretzel. I ordered cinnamon sugar and a garlic parm pretzel. They proceeded to say all they had was salted pretzel. After just making several other orders in that first 10 minutes of waiting that were garlic parm and cinnamon sugar. You also could clearly see the cinnamon sugar and garlic parm including their sauces fully stocked sitting on the rack. So that employee chose to intentionally not make my order correctly. At this point 45 minutes after my food was meant to be ready and 35 minutes after my movie start time I just took them to not make a scene or miss my movie. As I’ve never had this experience at any other AMC in years going. Most AMCs have always been super friendly and accommodating. I did go onto AMC’s app to let them know about this instance. I got no reply from the theater online. Only a “how would you rate your feedback experience” survey a week later showing it was completely ignored. I really don’t think it’s too wild to expect food I paid $15 for to be ready within a timely manner of when I preordered it for. Waiting over 40 minutes for preordered food, making me late to the start of my movie, is a bit...
Read moreLOVE the diy butter stations & new (every flavor under the sun) drink machines! FINALLY a way to satisfy every taste without infringing on those with more traditional preferences. Now those of us who prefer sugar free beverages have the same flavor choices as regular soda drinkers. And for those people who've complained about different flavors bleeding over... ? I've never experienced the problem myself, but you might try running some plain tonic for a few seconds to cleanse out the lines. Those machines are awesome!
It's also a very nice change to be able to select the level of butter myself. Unfortunately, if I want the butter distributed evenly it must be layered so I always ask that they put a "light" amount of butter in the middle of the bucket before topping it off and they're always pleasant and willing to accommodate me there. Now I don't have to worry about ending up with butter soup. It's perfect every time.
My only complaint would be that on occasion the popcorn is over salted and slightly stale. Never had a problem getting them to replace it though so it's all good!
PS: For customer's complaining about having to "butter it yourself".. ? Are you for real? Instead of immediately complaining about poor customer service take the time to ask them to do it for you. Not once has a single employee done anything but accommodate me cheerfully. KUDO's for both the cinema & it's well trained staff.
Pricing's in line with all other theaters, except IMAX & 3D. Possibly because not many other theaters can offer IMAX. Movie Tickets are high because 1. Those stars need their multi million dollar salaries & 2. There's so many thieves selling bootleg copies of these films it's raising the price for those of us who DON'T try to rip...
Read moreThe two stars are because the place was nice and clean, other than that my family and I were extremely upset. We seen Wrath of Man last night at about 7 P.M. We spent $65 for all 7 of us, just for tickets. We then got drinks, $7 for a large one, we were also going to get popcorn but the large was $10 and you can only get refills on popcorn and soda if it was a large. Around 8:15 I went to the lobby to get a refill on my soda only to find out that the soda machine was locked and needed a pass code to use it. There was a note attached saying that the soda machine closes at 8 P.M. and there could be no refills after that. I asked an employee walking by if this meant that I could not go up to the stand and get a refill. He did not even stop and said, "I guess so." There were several movies still playing and you could not even keep the soda machines unlocked for people when they came out of their movie. I have NEVER herd of a movie theater doing this. It is said that you want to charge a fortune for everything and then turn around and cheaply turn off things at a certain time without telling anyone. No one had told use when we purchased our drinks that this would happen. You guys are such rip offs. This was my first time here and it will be my last. Think I will take my business over to Landmark...
