PAPA'S CUPCAKES — Local services in Perkasie

Super cute place. I love shopping local, esp in Perkasie (bc i live there😁) , but it's not always feasible as we are struggling quite a bit financially. But Papa's Cupcakes' prices were still doable , even for us. It is a cute, quant little shop. Cupcakes were AMAZING...tho, be forewarned, I am someone with a major sweet toothe , and I can eat a lot of sweets without getting a bellyache 🤣, but even I could NOT finish the cupcake. I mean...I ate most of it....but could not finish it. I wanted to. Bc it tasted so darn good. But , for like, probably the first time EVER, I actually put the cupcake down and saved the rest of it for another day...ok for later on that day, but whatever. Had I taken even one more bite I would have been sick. Though, I don't want to give the wrong impression- the cupcakes were in no way sickening. They really were delicious and did not sit heavy in our stomachs. They were just jam-packed with a LOT of goodness. Not a bad thing at all. I just think that one cupcake is not just one serving- you could split one with a friend and it will be more than enough for you both! Anyway, they have a large variety of interesting flavors. The cupcake place sits within another very small store that sells some crafts, farm house style stuff (Papa's also sells a few crafty things as well as chocolates and other desserts....we went before Easter and got our daughter an ADORABLE nest of peeps , the peeps are in a chocolate nest and drizzled with chocolate and wrapped in cellophane with a cute bow, for $9) Definitely reccommend you...

5 stars for me My very first time tasting this cupcakes. Actually,i asked my sis in law to get me this for my birthday yesterday 8/14.

Here’s my two cents: Salted Caramel Chocolate cake with homemade caramel & sea salt filling topped with chocolate buttercream, caramel & sea salt- MY PERSONAL Faves: I love salted caramel everything and anything. This is a salted caramel heaven. Cravings satisfied. Enough sea salt in the caramel filling and also the frosting. Super decadent!!😍😍

Espresso Latte Chocolate & coffee cake with a chocolate ganache topped with espresso buttercream.- this is also delish! The cupcake itself though is a little on a drier side. With the buttercream it makes up for it. If u love Espresso latte as a drink you will be contented for the rest of the day!😎

Chocolate Bomb Chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache topped with chocolate buttercream then topped with chocolate drizzle.- this is my second fave, the chocolate ganache filling is just enough ratio. I am thrilled and delighted munching this kind of cupcake.

She also bought me the lemon drop but it got eaten right away by my dad. So with that I did not get to taste it. Next time I will have to buy it again so I can review it.

Next time I def want to visit the bakery itself myself.

Have purchased Papa's cupcakes in the past and always delicious...esp the chocolate bomb and the vanilla with strawberry compote inside...yum! However had a bit of a disappointing experience today. I visited Papa's as was looking to purchase a dozen mini cupcakes for a co-worker's birthday tomorrow. When I arrived I was told by the sales clerk that purchasing a dozen minis was not possible...AND that mini cupcakes could only be purchased via pre-order a good bit in advance. It specifically states on the website that one dozen mini cupcakes are $22.50 with no mention of the need to pre-order. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed as I was sure the birthday girl and coworkers would have loved them and made her day even more special. Ah well...something to remember next time. A suggestion is that if you don't offer one dozen minis, it should be removed from website and a two dozen tray minimum is required and must be...
