The bad reviews are definitely from bad customers or envious people because there is NOTHING to complain about here.
I’m someone who shops at places like Erewhon, Bristol Farms, Gelson’s and other expensive places.
I was craving Mexican tamales and I generally like to buy them from people who sale from home, but none were available and I really wanted some.
Found them on Google and man! It’s a little gold mine.
The pan dulce is fresh and tasty. The chicharrón was fresh and crunchy, so delicious. They have various items! I’m not Mexican but I love the candy and everything.
I’m picky with meat but but some there, it’s so clean and better than Cardenas.
The tamales were fresh, hot and delicious. The tacos were hot and flavorful. The aguas were cold and yummy. The champurrado was perfect.
I will be back, this is my go to. I loved the chorizo tacos and the staff was super nice and welcoming.

Read moreThe best pan dulce in all of Perris is made here. The also have a wide variety of meats available to choose from their meat market side of the business. With a huge menu of options to choose from they offer tasty meat burritos and soft, fresh pan dulce that will keep you coming back for more. They are also a member of the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce, and by doing so they help keep the community a happy, clean place to live. As a director of the Chamber and a local attorney, I have seen the positive reaction by the community to la Playita.

The elephant ears are not as crunchy as they should be and not as sweet. That's all I got from the bakery area because it was going to be too much bread. Now the market is well stocked! We looked around and the produce is good, the meat counter is fresh, there is a large candy selection, they sell masa for tamales, lots of different nuts, seeds, and legumes. They'd be better off to go by as...
