I selected one star, only because there are no options for ZERO stars. I purchased a $150 Hitron modem\router from the Buckeye Perrysburg retail store, prior to having my cable service installed and activated. Supposedly their top line Hitron CGNVM model. After I finally got the cable installed, we found that the operation and internet services was extremely intermittent. I attempted to take the modem back to the retail store where I purchased it, but they refused to exchange it or refund the purchase price. After numerous emails to their technical department and a visit from a technician who balanced the lines, they determined that the modem was most likely at fault, and since it was now beyond 30 days (because it took that long to get a technician out, they could not do anything about the modem and told me to contact the manufacturer. I have sent numerous emails to Hitron via their web site and they refuse to respond or confirm that I even contacted them. We have since replaced the Hitron modem we purchased from Buckeye Broadband with a 3rd party Zoom modem. Now, everything is working flawlessly. I don't plan to be stuck with a $150 piece of junk, and since Buckeye refuses to do anything or stand behind the products they sell, I have initiated a charge-back through my credit card company. If Buckeye doesn't want to handle returns or exchanges of defective products, maybe they should get out of the business of...

Stopped in this store 3 months ago to see about getting a better rate on my cable bill (which was $220/mo). Employee told me I had a very old rate plan and should be happy for having that! After getting no help from him, I explored Hulu Live TV and ultimately cut my cable. Last week, I stopped into same store (big mistake) and got the same guy. I turned in my modem and bought one for $120, which at $10/month to rent one from Buckeye, I had nearly paid $1500 for that one over 13 years! He tried to convince me that it was a mistake to buy one, and not continue to rent because technology changes so quickly. I told him simple math said I could buy one every year and break even! He didn't get the logic! I paid for the new modem with Visa. Now I have my bill and I'm being charged for it again on my bill! He never marked that I had paid for it. We are disappointed to learn that Buckeye Broadband dropped Newsmax from its cable lineup Feb. 1!

Buckeye is still keeping liberal channels like MSNBC and CNN but dropping Newsmax!

And MNSBC and CNN costs you much more on your cable bill from Buckeye.

These liberal channels oppose President Donald Trump and cost far more than Newsmax costs!

And millions of people like you watch Newsmax!

Newsmax is the top 7 of ALL cable channels and top 4 in news.

Why is Buckeye canceling Newsmax when MOST cable channels it carries has less viewership and cost much more than Newsmax.
