My husband and I decided to try this place for takeout and it was the worst Chinese food I have ever tried. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. The chicken tasted old and dry - I couldn’t tell if it was just old or if it had been over cooked. It was drenched in absolutely horrible sauce that was sweet and almost like a sweet and sour (I ordered sesame chicken and I have never had it served with a sweet sauce anywhere else). The crab rangoon had an instant sour taste that made me further question the integrity of their food. My husband told me their fish tank inside the restaurant did not look like it was well taken care of. Make of all that information what you will but it’s the first time I have ever only ate three bites or less of any Chinese food, tossed all of it, and had to pursue other dinner plans. My husband and I are normally huge fans of everything we attempted to try from them. This food would have been absolutely appalling even if it had been free but it was beyond an insult to pay for garbage. Do yourself a favor and eat...
Read moreI'd always heard glowing things about Bai Du, but because they didn't have much/any info available online until only recently, when a hankering for Chinese food came about I'd always happily concede to Ya Ya Kitchen. Anyway, going for dinner on a Friday you'll most likely find it to be pretty busy, so calling ahead is highly recommended. You should acknowledge that you'll have to wait a bit for your food, as this is a pretty small operation that's in high demand, so that's just how it is. The food is very reasonably priced, and when it arrives you'll find that it's more than worth the wait. The portions are that perfect kind of huge that guarantees you'll be taking an additional meal home with you (remember, though, when reheating rice you should include a mug of water in the microwave, which will prevent it from getting too dried out). Their chicken egg rolls are delicious, and their cashew chicken, like all cashew chicken, is absolutely...
Read moreOrdered sesame chicken chef's special, which comes in a plastic dinner type container with a clear plastic lid. It was good flavor, quality and portion size. Also ordered sweet and sour chicken dinner and it came in a folding box with a few pineapple, green pepper and onion chunks, and a big side cup of s&s sauce. Both came with a smaller folding container of white rice, and were good flavor, quality and portions. Ordered 2 orders (5 count) of crab ragoons and they were good except for not very hot, but still tasted of great quality and were big, also came with sweet and sour sauce to dip. 4 fortune cookies were included, they accepted the coupon online from their pdf menu, and I asked for a take out menu which has coupons for next time. Staff was friendly, and food was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I do not think they use msg as i was able to eat more than 4 bites, and do not feel sick like i usually do...
