This is a nice restaurant located in a strip center, so parking isn't an issue. The restaurant was busy (Saturday evening) and we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. The dining facility was a little cramped around the bar area which was located on the left side of the entrance, but given the time and day that is to be expected. The interior had multiple TV's and game machines giving the restaurant more of a bar & grill feel to it versus a traditional Mexican restaurant. The cultural decor was pretty sparse, but the restaurant itself was clean and organized. After being seated our server took our drink order (water only) and brought them out quickly along with a serving of salsa and chips. The water was pretty neutral which is always nice, the chips were lightly salted, had good crunch, but didn't have much corn flavor. The salsa had a medium complexion, but was weak, tasting more of tomato than anything else. Our order took about 15 -20 minutes and was plated nicely. The grilled vegetables were very good as they had good flavor, texture and were cooked at the right temperature. The beans were also pretty good. The guacamole was firm and had decent flavor and complemented the other vegetables well. The slice of tomato served with both meals were not good as they were probably of the hot house or hydroponic variety. The enchiladas were nearly flavorless and all 3 (beef, chicken and cheese) had the same texture. The green chili sauce was slightly sour and had no real chili flavor. The cheeses used for the cheese enchilada were very mild and had very little stretch or creaminess to it. The service was very good with our server checking in just enough to not be a nuisance and show good hospitality. The portions were fair in comparison to the price so there was fair value. The food isn't going to offend many people, but I prefer Mexican fare that is spicier and more flavorful. This is a good, safe choice for families or anyone traveling through the area that wants a meal that isn't going to be too heavy or too light.

The tortilla chips they offer have no flavor, and definitely no salt on them. The salsa is watery and reminded me of ketchup. I added hot sauce that isn't even remotely spicy. I tried the "Green Habanero" sauce and found it to have a hint of spiciness but I used a lot of it. I asked about spicier sauces but was told that the green and red sauces in the table are all they offer. The host or someone in the front area announces orders over a loudspeaker. It is very annoying and distracting, but maybe that's what makes it authentic? They didn't do that the last time I was in Mexico but what do I know? I ordered 2 chimichangas, one beef tips, and the other chicken. The chicken was very bland and dry. The beef tips were literally tiny triangular pieces of beef just dumped into a tortilla. They cover the chimichangas in a queso blanco sauce that barely makes up for the lack of crispiness in the chimichangas. Ordered sopapillas with strawberry sauce. The sopapillas were nicely warm. The strawberry sauce was refrigerated and resembled daiquiri mix. I told the person I was with that I wanted Taco Bell but decided to go here to try it out. Now I know.

I can’t even lie if I say I was totally put off by the hostess informing the servers of guests along with what I am assuming was the table number and the section over an intercom system. My husband and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for some lunch. We were immediately sat in the back in a booth directly next to a table with 3 young children, all were crying. OK I get it. Sometimes you just can’t help things like that. With that being said the restaurant was not crazy busy. We could’ve been sat anywhere else at any other table but that was not the case. Next a group of over 16 people sat in the same tiny section we were at the booth we were in was located. Once we order our food it seems like our waiter had forgotten about us. Took forever to get the check. Longer to get the box. Service was, eh. Food was, okay. We won’t be returning anytime soon.

So let's start by saying the decor and such is wonderful, I walk in got greeted and seated. I had my drinks in a couple of minutes, and server took our orders. All this was in a timely fashion but, once our salad and soup came out my wife had ordered a salad with Ranch dressing the Ranch dressing was old and did not taste good. We asked for a second dressing Balsamic vinegar, after about 5-7 minutes the server comes back and asks again what dressing we wanted. After talking with him he fetches a menu and asks us to point so we do. After another 5 minutes he comes back with a menu again and asks us again what one we wanted we point the balsamic again. He leaves and about 15 minutes later a different server comes by and asks us we state Balsamic again. By this time we're half way through our meal and to be honest the food was sub standard. So about 2-3 minutes after the second waiter has come back with a dressing. We thanked him and she tastes it and says "This is not balsamic" I taste it, and guess what! They brought us Teriyaki sauce... So we finish our meals they promptly brought us our dessert we finish those and they were better than the meal. So about 10minutes go by and I decided ok let's just go to the counter and pay noone brought us the bill. At the counter we spent about 3-5minutes figuring out our bill which was the 2 for 25$ meal. They ended up asking for 36$ so we were confused and then the total was finally brought to 25$ + Tax we paid and then we left.

We do not plan to go...

Rude waitress! Never eating here again my daughter is 4 years old and didn’t like the food at all (bland burned quesabirra tacos)didn’t touch her food so I told the waitress to send it back this waitress questioned me multiple times told me to take it home when it was disgusting and on top of that she brought my receipt to me folded up slammed it on the table didn’t take it off my bill and walked away with an attitude! then I grabbed the receipt off the the table handed it to the owner to do something about this… the rude waitress proceeded to intervene in our conversation attacking me and my daughter about how “it don’t work like that”! I then told her to stop talking to me and I’m not arguing with you with my daughter right beside me she told me “my daughter ate the food off of MY plate and it was grounds enough to still charge me for a whole other untouched plate of food. She proceeded to attack me the whole time the owner was fixing her mistake. She had to tell her to remove herself from our conversation because she was not letting up and was irate. First and last time I will ever step foot in this establishment, best Mexican restaurant my butt more like RUDE service and...
