How can I find the words to share my glorious experience there..I can't.. I can share what a wonderful feeling I received when I walked in and seen the Shrine of Our Mother Mary, it was heavenly. I felt tears come to my eyes and my knees buckled.. Never have I had this happened to me. I never thought I would have a chance like this. And to see the grotto of Mary.. I walked the Rosary Walk and then the Marian also. I spent almost 4 hours there. This wasn't a planned trip, I was on my way to see a friend and I seen the sign. I had to go and visit on a beautiful day it was too. I'm from Illinois. A 8 hour drive, but very worth it. I will be coming back with my church 's pilgrimage.. so many blessed statues also. It's the greatest Catholic location you can visit in the Midwest. You will not be disappointed. You can schedule a tour that will make it even better. I go there often just to pray and lite votive candles for people who are in need of prayers. A prayer said is never wasted.
