Hiko Japanese Steak, Sushi & Ramen — Restaurant in Perryville

Hiko, by far, gave us the BEST service we have ever had! We travel quite a bit, which means we frequently eat out. My daughter and I were so incredibly impressed by Hiko. Our server was so attentive and made everything perfect. I ordered unsweetened tea, and our server even went as far as opening the bottle and pouring it into my glass, when he would come by the table to check on us, he was consistently getting little things out of the way (like my tiny pile of used sweetener packets and our chopstick wrappers.) The level of service we had was comparable to fine dining restaurants we’ve visited within the cities. The food was delicious and plated beautifully. My wife and I usually drive to St. Louis, when we are wanting a good bowl of Ramen. When I saw that Hiko had a great selection of ramen bowls on their menu, it was a must that we check it out. We both had the Tan tan Ramen. It was delicious! I always have spicy ramen, but my wife does not. When you order spicy, the server will ask you what level you want from 1-5. I always say 3 at other restaurants. Not here. Thankfully, our server Ondo suggested that I go with level 2. He knew what he was talking about. It was so flavorful and YES very spicy. My wife also ordered a sushi roll that was delicious! Their menu has so many options to choose from. We're so excited that there is a legit Ramen option in our area. I've been to lots of Sushi/Hibachi places, locally and even to Japan a few times. This place is top-tier and far exceeded my expectations. I had the Salmon Hibachi lunch and a Brown Sugar Boba Tea. Everything was amazing. Salmon was on-point. Vegetables were charred just right. Boba Tea was fresh and flavorful. The only suggestion I have for improvement, the rice was a little dry, hopefully just a day1 issue and next time it will be improved. I'm planning to go back for lunch and dinner many more times.
