We hired Bootheel Baking Co. to be our private chef for a bachelorette weekend. They drove from Perryville to St. Louis for our event. They were PERFECT - we couldn’t ask for better. They showed up on time, brought everything they needed, served us 4 courses that were timed perfectly, looked STUNNING, and tasted even better. We had a dietary restriction and they accommodated it on every dish. They cleaned up after the 10 guests, themselves and left the entire space better than they found it. Maybe we came in at a bad time. After getting off from a hot factory, we like to eat in a cool environment. 85 degrees in this restaurant. I would like to see at least 75 degrees. I could of understood the temps if there were more people eating, but we were the only ones there. No sweet tea and no fountain drinks. They said their ice machine wasn't working. Friendly, casual and delicious describes this spot to a T. The owners and staff were attentive and accommodating. The food is prepared to order, fresh and great portions, we did not leave hungry and had plenty to take home. The atmosphere is casual and inviting with plenty of seating, although we didn't sit on the patio, that is an option. Great place for a bite to eat and scrumptious sweet treats!
