The worst customer service ever if you have a problem… We bought a beautiful livingroom set and had issues starting with the 1st delivery. 1st furniture set was delivered badly damaged and we weren’t notified or told it was damaged until they were unloading the truck. So of course it had to be reordered which was a custom order. 2nd set comes and one of the poor delivery guys accidentally cut himself and had blood spots on several pieces. We called and let them know that there were spots and they said they would take care of getting it cleaned. So this is where things turned😞We were NEVER told once that this furniture was dry clean only and when I say dry clean only the guys they hired to clean even had to research how to clean this furniture. Remind u when we were shopping for new furniture we told her that we needed pet friendly and durable furniture. What we got was durable but not pet friendly. The dry cleaner came and cleaned the spots and where they cleaned the upholstery was slightly discolored. This is where the cleaner said it is the best they can do. We had been dealing with the owner by this point and she had apologized in the beginning and said she wasn’t even aware of all the previous issues we had dealt with from the delivery of the damaged set. She assured us that she would make it right. After calling back and discussing with her that we were unhappy with paying almost $6000 for furniture that we can’t even sit on without covering it because even water would leave a stain. Needless to say the owner said they will order a couple replacement covers but after that there is nothing more she is going to do!! She even said that we didn’t even mention that we had a dog, which was a complete lie. We sat there and showed pics of our puppy with the sales people, we always brag about her. Why would we need such expensive upholstery when we don’t even have kids and home. But I figure that was said to cover their butts from having to admit they mislead us or made a mistake. We have bought several pieces from here and have always been happy with the service.We would NEVER buy anything that expensive that is dry clean only I won’t even buy clothes that are dry clean only….Very disappointing is putting it nicely!!! I made a first time purchase at Steinberg's for a new recliner at the end of January 2023 and it was delivered on time by a couple of very respectful young men. During setup I noticed a slight flaw in the material and what made me write this review was the instant response to my concern. My salesperson Mary basically dropped everything she was doing and within 90 minutes or so the section of the chair with the flaw was replaced with a new section and it looks great. I try to support local business as much as possible and going forward whenever I need furniture Steinberg's will definitely have first opportunity to earn future business and I highly recommend to others to do the same. Mary was very pleasant to work with and I appreciated the no pressure approach from her. I'll be back when I'm in the market for home...
   Read moreI recently went there and picked out a chair a swing and a couch that I wanted my husband to see before purchasing so I brought him in the next day and we spent 2 1/2hours with the same lady changing our mi dos o Er and over ending. Up with a custom couch and a custom diningroom set. And all the staff treated us so well I couldn't believe it. We are down to earth and some times quirky and usually sales people roll their eyes or make comments they think we dont understand or they mean to insult us but this place was so patient and understood our thought process throughout the time we were there and I really appreciate that alto!!!. I have bought furniture from Steinburrgs before so I am very excited to see my new couch and ding roomset. Its going to take 8 weeks of course and I will get back with o review when I get them .
