Butterworth's Furniture — Local services in Petersburg

My experience started out great in the store, and I was really excited about getting my new furniture. I was told it would be delivered the first week of August even though I went in June. No big deal I understand they have to get everything in. The first week of August came, and I didn't hear anything. I called up there and was told my sales person was busy and would call me back. A few days later I hadn't heard anything so I called again. Then she tells me its going to be the end of September. I never received an update or anything, so I called AGAIN the other day. Only to be told only half of my furniture was in, and now I have to wait until November. I am paying for something I don't have, not being updated, and she told me she is waiting for something too. I'm sorry but when I am explaining my frustration the last thing I want to hear from an employee is that they are waiting for something too. She also said that she has been following up with me when she hasn't called me or kept me updated at all! It's been 4 months, and I am still very frustrated...

Our experience with purchasing 3 rooms of furniture was fantastic. Katherine impressed me from the minute I walked through the door. She was so personable and made me feel important. The customer service from everyone in the store was exceptional, including the ladies behind the desk, the finance approval team, and the delivery team. That’s what made my experience so outstanding. Even the experience with financing process was seamless. There was no back order issues. Everything in their showroom was in stock and available immediately for delivery. We have really enjoyed our furniture the last couple of months. The quality is great and much better than some of the chain furniture stores. When friends or family are furniture shopping, I always refer them to Butterworth's and here's why. We got a new couch in September 2021, a piece broke, my husband called at the beginning of the week. They picked the piece up this afternoon, repaired it, and it's on the way back to my house all within a few hours. Loretta has been friendly, efficient, and kept us updated the whole time.
