Manager "training" coworker, I was next in queue, I place my items on counter, say "Hi, how are you?". I am completely ignored, try again, still no response so I give up on greeting her. I try inputting my phone # into keypad and screen jumps to payment mode, I ask, "Can I please input my phone number?" Still no response or acknowledgement, I try again, no reaction, I try 3 times to be polite and even toned - I do finally speak over her and raise my voice, "May I Please put in my phone number?". She snaps at me that I don't have to be rude, that she is "training" her coworker. The training in question was her ignoring guests and rambling about how not to copy SSN's and talking about what not to do in regards to admin. She is training this coworker to not interact with customers and blatantly ignore them to the point of having to raise your voice to be heard. The manager could definitely be friendlier and more helpful to both customers and employees. Lately they haven't had the things we normally pick up from here which is disappointing because it's been over 2 weeks of waiting with no success.... but I will keep the faith.
