The Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Petersburg

After we were sat, we(table of 2) sat there for 10 mins waiting for menus, which I eventually had to ask for. We placed our drink order(1 coffee, 1 OJ), I had to walk to another table for cream and sugar. The 3 servers were running around like chicken with the heads cut off because maybe they were down a server?? After another 15 minutes, the server returned to take our order and apologized as it was her first day. Ok no problem, I've worked in the service industry for 15+ years, i totally get it. Awhile later(15-20 minutes), the server returned and had to re take our order because "it went into the computer but disappeared"..code for i forgot to enter it. When the food finally came it was great!! But in the meantime, we watched a table that came in after us, order, eat and pay before we even got our food. Advice from a former server/bartender..girls..stop, take a breath and regain your composure. Between the 3 of you, you could have easily dealt with the less than 10 tables that were in there. We all get in the weeds, but you have to be confident you will get through it. Focus and help each other. It was a very disappointing experience and if im saying that, it...

Ordered the BLT Turkey Club; it was very good. For the side I got the cole slaw, it was okay, but the portions were really very small. My husband got the Patty melt; same thing, not really a lot of French fries with it. The waitresses seem disorganized. We sat down...had to wait a bit for someone to come to our table. She finally came, then brought our drinks, but didn't take our orders. I finally had to catch her eye to get her to come and take our orders. Then she didn't know what the sides were on the menu (she said she was new) and goes off to get another waitress instead of just looking up the sides herself. She said she had been there 2 days; how could you not know the limited number of sides there in 2 days? Maybe you might want to make a point of learning them? Kind of goes with the territory of the job.... This all took awhile.........finally comes back with the other waitress...we place our orders....food comes...no tableware. We came in waited for a move to be cleaned off at hand the servers somewhere where they're rolling silverware which is fine we basically waited for the table we cleaned off so we can have a booth they were open tables in the middle but we prefer a booth so as they were cleaning off the tables we grabbed ourselves in the news and we sit down there is three parties that came in after us parties I mean just two to three people groups reset there for about 10 minutes nobody came over The third parties that came in after us had their menus and drinks which my new we got menu because we picked ours up ourselves so after sitting there for about 10 minutes and being looked over we went ahead and left very disappointing so I can't leave a review on their food you know if we would have got our drinks within that 10 minutes or at least our drink order just tooken you know that would be another thing with three servers in there I was just very...
