Today was my first time at this salon. My overall experience was great. They did a great job but, I was completely dissatisfied with the prices they charged. I get my nails done very often and have tried numerous salons in the city and I have never ever been charged the prices that this place charged me today. For one, there is no price list posted inside the salon and as I've noticed now, there is no website with prices. In my honest opinion, they charge whatever they want. They make the prices up as they go. So here's the price list that they chose for us.. 1- pedicure ("the spa" version) ($45) & manicure ($15) for a total of $60. 1- regular pedicure ($30), 2 designs on my big toes @ $5 a toe. ($10) I also got gel and I am unsure as to how much they charged for that. 1- full set ($30), designs on 4 of the nails @ $5 each. ($20) I also got gel which I am unsure how much they charged for that as well. & I got my eyebrows done ($7) I was told that my total was $114 & his was $60 There is an extra $17 that I'm assuming was for the gel on both my hands and feet. How that is divided into 2, I have no idea. I have never heard of any nail salon that charges $30 for a full set! The whole point of this review is, if you choose to use this salon, be aware of the prices. I would definitely ask the prices before you get it done.. cause once it's done, you have no choice but to pay. These women should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people like they did to me. With a total bill of $174, this woman had the nerve to ask for a tip. She told me that her employees needed to be tipped for their services. Where is the professionalism? I am a very generous tipper but, not when I feel completely taken advantage of. She was paid more than enough for her and her employees services. I will never ever go back to this salon and I would highly discourage anyone who...
Read moreI want you guys to be the judge of my experience! I was seated at Tina's desk the moment I walked in, so no appointment needed. I told her the design I wish to have and request not so long nails. It seems like I struck a nerve of some sort, because here comes her verbal assault. "Omg is she crazy? She wants a long nail design on a short nail!" "I'm speechless" "How foolish" etc...... Of course, she says all these in Mandarin. If you are wondering how I know? I'm Chinese but Chinese people doesn't think I'm Chinese lol. And I didn't disclose that I understand EVERY SINGLE words they said lol. You probably wonder why I didn't leave? I'm on a very tight schedule that day, changing a salon won't fit.
I end up changing to another Hello Kitty design. My nails end up not so Hello Kittyish. But because I loves cats as well, I would said it is passable. My nails cost $100, and I gave her $26 in tips. Does she deserves that tip? Her attitude definitely a NO. But my cat ghostly nails are still cute, a YES. I do believe in tips so I tipped. A week later, my cat eyes looks blind. The fact that they are open on Sunday and doesn't require a appointment is definitely a plus. But the trash talks.......
P.S. I saw a short vid on IG regarding these people trash talk. There is a ongoing discussion about it. To the store owners and employees, if our hands and feet are flawless, you won't...
Read moreThe first time I went I told myself everyone has a bad day. This second time I was so upset with this establishment that I had to calm down before I wrote this post. I can't say I never, but I can say this is one of the most unprofessional, rude , over priced business I went to in a long time. If I could give negative stars it would be -1million (note: it won't let me post without a star). It took all my strength not to %^$$whip the person who snatched a paper out of my hands. As I stormed to my car I notice another shop across the street on the same side as KiKi called Nikki Nail. WHAT a difference as soon as I went in I felt relaxed and the service and price was excellent. It has been two weeks and my nails still...
