Philadelphia Water Department Field Office — Local services in Philadelphia

Just needed to leave this in my lifetime of dealing with the water department. I have been in an up and down battle when life shows up. Most reps are rude or don't do what they said they were going to do. I've been hung up on or pass around to a dead end or even when it seemed like hope. I've learned you have to go face to face with a rep to try and get some answers. Even emails leave a paper trail but that doesn't mean the situation has been fulfilled. Mrs. Gardner went above and beyond the call of duty. Her spirit and kindness uplifted me when it could've been a way worse night for my family. I appreciate her for just being her. Worst costumer service ever. I've been trying to get in touch for a week now. I set up an appointment for an inspector to come check my drainage and give me the ok because my drain pipes were clogged and I unclogged it myself with a snake and now it's working perfect. I keep calling and all I get is the answering machine and left them several messages and still haven't got a response yet. Frustrated. I waited 10 hours for a call back only for them to hang up after barely getting my phone out of my pocket. Called back right away to have another representative hang up on me right as they took me off hold and didn't even say hello or anything. What a joke.
