Let me start off by saying Rocio and Carmen are phenomenal! The venue is gorgeous and their vendors are great. Food and cake were delicious. Their security guards are all so polite and respectful. But their waitstaff is something else. After speaking to my guest and got feedback they all said the same thing, after getting their dinner plate, not once did anyone return to see if they needed something else. Half of my guest did not get served and they were all there before 7:30, I was given a whole tray full of each item at the end. I had a guest literally argue with a server over a plate because the server refused to allow her to take a plate off her cart after waiting over an hour for it. I inquired about having more staff but was reassured there was no need. Majority of guest eating said they did not get refills on their soft drinks and the waiters were very rude and they didn’t want to bother them. Bartender was so overwhelmed and didn’t know how to mix drinks. Something as simple as a tequila soda she mixed with Coca-Cola instead of club soda. I personally had to instruct her in how to mix my drink and she swore there was no X of it, after I made her aware that yes there was she found it; take it this was already 12:30am almost at the end. I’m so disappointed that after so much planning and money spent my guest had such a bad experience. Lastly I was very specific that I did not want red lighting and when I arrived red all around, the place looked like a congal (cheap and the lowest of the low brothel). Everything went absolutely perfect the day of my quince! Carmen and Rocio were very attentive to all of my questions and concerns throughout the process. Even though I had my doubts at times, as do most people planning any event, they went the extra mile to answer and put me at ease. They maintained professionalism throughout all of their communication. I am an event professional myself, and they worked very well with all of the vendors we hired or worked with for the event. They made me feel like our event was the most important one to them, although I know they stay busy Fridays and Saturdays. The security guards were very respectful and yet kept my guests feeling safe their kids wouldn't walk out. The bartenders were very attentive to my guest also. I hired additional waitresses on my own accord, but the Hall waitresses worked very well with them to keep my guests well fed and hydrated. The Hall was very clean at the beginning of my event, the restrooms were well stocked, the smell was very pleasant, I needed an extra table for our Audio Guestbook (provided by me) and they were accommodating. Price wise, they are comparable to others, but the elegance and the professional manner of their employees is what set them apart for me and my family. We hope to continue having a great working relationship with them for a long time, but as a client...we are absolutely happy we chose them as a venue when we could have chosen any of the others we were familiar with.
