I am SO surprised by the positive reviews here. Although her work was good, that was it. I purchased “new eyebrows” as a gift, needed a gift certificate mailed, and that process went well. Since this was her first experience with facial tattooing, I went with my friend. We traveled some distance with heavy traffic, so arrived A FEW minutes late. Jane was standing outside (smoking?) when we arrived, and her first words to us were “You’re late”. We proceeded to the salon and the waiting room was in need of a good scrub. Very little conversation past that point - she gave us reading material and pushed some items into my friend’s purse (??). Sorry, but I don't feel anyone should touch a purse without permission. She continued to be curt and didn’t attempt to make my friend feel comfortable with small talk, etc. Jane or less ordered her and pushed her head into whatever position she wanted. I waited in the outer room and noted all of the dust and dirt, pet hair, pet food bags, etc. there and tried not to touch anything. Remainder of the visit was uneventful with the exception of her being rather rude throughout. We dismissed her poor bedside manner as her being upset that we were 5 minutes late. The follow-up visit was so much worse. Still no cleaning done, dust bunnies were full-sized rabbits. The magazine I picked up off the table left a visible blank space in the dust and dirt. During this visit, I also waited in the outer area. My friend had placed her glasses on the chair in the procedure room. Near the end of the visit, Jane came out to me with my friend’s glasses in her hand, saying they had fallen on the floor. I believe she said ONE of the lenses had fallen out but she put it back in. She said she was afraid to bend them at all so they wouldn't break. When I looked at them, they appeared extremely bent. Hmmm - from falling on the floor? We left pretty quickly - I was upset about the glasses and the dirt. When placed on her face, the bows were obviously bent beyond a fall. We attempted to adjust them to the point where she could put them on since she can’t see well without them. Thank goodness I drove - she kept saying she wasn’t seeing right and felt nauseous. We found a nearby Wal Mart with an Optical department and went in straightaway. The tech said the lenses were in the wrong sides! Also, the bows were still bent. She had to purchase new frames in the end! Jane had obviously stepped on the glasses and didn’t want to admit what she had done. I couldn’t believe any reputable business owner would handle a situation so dishonestly. Neither of us contacted her - not looking for the expected denials. WHY didn’t Jane just say she had stepped on them so we knew what we were dealing with? The rude, dishonest, dirty establishment will get no further business or referrals from either of us. She needs a refresher course in customer relations - and she needs to hire a good cleaning person if she doesn’t even have...

I had my eyebrows done by Jane a week ago. I can't praise Jane's work high enough. The shape and tint of my new eyebrows are excellent. When I looked in the mirror after the procedure, I couldn't believe my eyes. This was the second time that I had permanent eye brow make up done. The previous eye make up artist had not consultated me about the shape of my eye brows, and I was dissatisfied from the beginning. Jane takes her time to pencil in your "eye brows-to be", and discusses and makes changes to the shape untli you are totally satisfied. She is very professional, yet personable and easy to communicate with. The procedure took about one hour, was painful ( eye brow permanent make up is never free of pain); after looking into the mirrow, I knew that it had been all worthwhile. Let me start off by saying, Jane has been my go to person for permanent and natural makeup for over a decade.

Today I went in for my touch up as I do every 1 1/2 -2 years, due to my love of the sun(fading). She is still the only person I trust to tattoo my face. My brows are “on point” and are beautiful and natural.
