I really want to like this facility after several years of attending. But several reasons are preventing me from doing so. 1) Some of the staff is VERY rude. 2)They recently raised prices of range ball buckets and were very transparent about why (increased golf ball prices from their supplier) with signage around the facility. However, the last few times I’ve visited, my 75 ball bucket has had more balls without dimples than new balls. They need to throw out all the old worn out balls with no dimples but they refuse to do so for some reason. 3)They run out of buckets at the range ball dispenser on busy days. 4)You’re basically hitting off sand at the range/not much grass. Overall, they really need to put more of a financial investment in the place or sell. It has potential.

This is an easily accessible golf course on Union Hills around 35th st next to Paradise Valley Community College. There is a driving range (large bucket 100 balls $12.00), putting green, chipping area and an 18 hole course. Easy course to play, highly recommended for beginners or persons that haven't played in awhile to brush-up on their game. The Pro shop where you check in, I met Brandon, great guy, very friendly and helpful. He informed me of where everything was located, course hours, and asked for a Google review. I was satisfied with the Driving range, chipping, and putting areas. I highly recommend going here for practicing up on your game and a quick round of 9 or 18.

Like most of the recent reviews have mentioned, this place needs some serious maintenance. Dirt and dead grass make up about 50% of the entire course. It has quite a lot of potential as this executive course offers some fun holes (I wish there were one or two more Par 4’s or 5’s). It was $40/golfer and it’s clear that you get what you pay for. Also, why is foot golf on this course? If PV Golf Course truly wants to improve and bring people in they need to get rid of that fake sport.

Up front, this review has nothing to do with the actual playing conditions. Though not great, It was to be semi expected since they were planning to overseed the following day. That's not my issue. My issue Is that the entire place was so run down that I won't even display my logo ball in my rack after playing this course. Each hole has a shade structure that was falling apart and no shade. The canopies were all missing, one of the restrooms was in such disrepair, that it looked like it was about to fall down at anytime. Seriously, the roof supports were broken almost in two. Trash cans at the tee boxes were overflowing, there were hundreds of driving range balls in adjacent fairways. Speaking of driving range, no buckets for the balls. It looks like this place has one employee, and they just can't keep up. There was also another issue I had never seen on another golf course. On easily half of the holes they hadn't cut the hole for the flag deep enough, and the flag would bottom out and wouldn't stand up on his own, so half of the greens had flags that were leaning to the side or playing on the ground because it wouldn't stay up. Slow pace, over 4 hours for a par 61. The experience gave the impression that ownership/management quit caring a long, long time ago. Play...

I was really disappointed with my experience at this golf course. The grounds are poorly maintained, with large patches of dirt and oddly placed areas throughout the course. It feels like an older, run-down spot in the Valley that’s badly in need of updates. The driving range offers no shade or coverage, which made practice uncomfortable, especially in the Arizona heat. Surprisingly, there were very few trash cans, only a handful across the entire course.

What really left a negative impression was our check-in. The staff member who checked in our party of three was extremely rude and unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. He seemed irritated and made it clear that helping us was a burden. Any small issue that came up was somehow blamed on our group, which made us feel more like a problem than paying guests. Even after we left the pro shop, he continued to watch us from the patio and again at the driving range, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

For a Paradise Valley based course, I was shocked at the lack of quality and customer service. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be returning, regardless of price. I’d much rather recommend Bellair Golf Course, which consistently offers a much better...

This place and the woman at the snack place are absolute trash. They don’t provide coolers so I brought my own filled with water bottles, go to the snack place and ask for ice to put in my cooler and the woman says no… I thought she was joking so I sarcastically said o no?? What do u mean no?? Then she said no, u can’t have ice, can u read?! And pointed to some sign. I go talk to the guys up front and they said maybe if u buy something she will give u ice. So I go back and ask her if I can have ice if I buy something and she says “ no! I’ve already told u twice now this is the third time I’m telling u no! “. Luckily a normal rational human being was within ear shot and calmly got me some ice and told me to have a good round. I come back in after the first nine holes to get something to eat and this woman says to me immediately “ u got that guy in trouble for getting u ice “ so I said I don’t really care. She turned around and just left…. Didn’t allow me to purchase food. She just straight up left. Idk what’s worse, the course or...
