They literally made me cry. I went to get new pink polish on my toes (existing color pink) and neutral polish on my fingers (existing color neutral). I handed both nail polishes to the lady and she started on my pedicure as I worked on my phone. When she was done w my feet I looked down and noticed she painted them neutral, honest mistake… after all she didn’t ask me and I just assumed she would see that it’s the same pink on my toes and same neutral on my fingers. Either way, easy fix. Or so you would think. The manicurist then proceeded to yell at me telling me it’s all my fault for not telling her. I apologised and said in my defence you never asked and we were just matching colors. She continued to barrage me to the point I was holding back tears as I’m not used to being talked to like that. I then decided I didn’t want to give my business to these people and got up and quietly walked to the door. The manager asked me what happened, as I started telling him the manicurist came up and started arguing with me again and I didn’t want to engage her so I reached for the door to leave then she blocked it and refused to let me leave. I said that I was emotional and uncomfortable and to please let me out. She continued to block the door and restrict me from leaving which in my opinion is an infringement of my freedom and free will. As I was being held hostage I looked at the other patrons and shouted “they won’t let me leave, what do I do?”. They still wouldn’t let me leave so I got my phone out and told them I would call the police if they continue to refuse to let me exit at which point they finally opened the door. Worst nail salon experience of my life and it did not have to happen that way. Since my nails were still not done, I went to the other nail salon in the same shopping complex (Lincoln nails) who have a nicer space and are also cheaper with way more color options and will continue to go there from now on… they also don’t yell at me a keep me from leaving...
Read moreThis was my first time going to Pv Nails. Today I went to get a dip powder holographic manicure and I also got a pedicure. I got dip because it lasts longer than gel. The main issue I had about this place was that after I left, 10 min later I realized that one of my nails had a small knick in it. I went back and asked if they could fix the nail since I had just spent over $100 there ($60 for the manicure). I got a different nail tech (because that's who was available). She didn't start the nail over, but just buffered out a partial of the area and redipped my nail to cover the spot. I asked her as she was fixing it if it was going to look the same and she said that it will look a little bit different since she had to buffer the nail. The WHOLE POINT of going back to fix my nail was so it could look like all the other nails!! I left the place again and realized when I was in better lighting that she used a completely different powder color than all my other nails. So now I have 9 nails that are a pink color tint and the nail that was "fixed" is a silver tint. In certain lightings it looks okay but it is still bothersome. It's just upsetting because I spent a lot of money on these nails and I am also going to a wedding in a couple weeks. I so badly want to go back and have them redo it again but at this point I am just going to say 'screw it'.
The initial people that did my nails were very nice and the place was decorated nicely. I do not want to be one of THOSE customers who complains to their face, as I do feel bad for already going back once to get it fixed, however I will not be returning. What a waste of money.
Update: the next day my toenail chipped. One day...
Read moreI am extremely unimpressed with this salon! This is the second time I went here. The first was okay, not great, but not bad. Its located near my work and I didn't have time to go to my regular place so I went here again. The nail tec I got was extremely rough with me, constantly pulling my hands/arms, and made it extremely clear she would have liked to be anywhere besides there. I asked for the shape to be skinny coffin, and she gave me square. I reminded her when I saw her doing the wrong shape and she simply said, "okay". Then when more time passed and I still saw her doing square, I politely reminded her again and she snapped at me, "Yes. I know!" so I just kept quiet after that. She finished my nails a very ugly square, not evenly filed, and then held them up to me and said "look how pretty! A new shape!" She also cut me multiple times because she was being so rough with me and trying to do the manicure so quickly. After all that, the next day my manicure already started chipping! (I got acrylic gel. It never chips!) I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! I now understand why there was only me and one other...
