Huge shout out to Javier!!!!! He is so kind and just made my day and experience special. He didn't judge me when I tried ordering in Spanish. In fact, he even helped me out. Everyone seems very nice and you can feel it's such a friendly environment.

Now for the tacos..... OMG, the picadillo was my favorite, but the chicken and pastor were amazing. There is so much flavor in the pastor it actually surprised me. The meat on the picadillo is so tender and flavorful as well it pairs so well with the green salsa! The chicken was definitely super flavorful as well and nice and tender. That taco definitely went perfect with the red hot salsa.

They have a taco Tuesday special, and you can order the street tacos for a very reasonable price. I honestly would even go back when it's not taco Tuesday. Super good and just a flavorful taco. I totally love supporting family businesses like this!! Please keep up the amazing food and desserts!! The desserts, by the way, are also top tier! There's nothing negative at all to say!!

I came upon this restaurant from a recommendation I’d received on the Next Door app claiming they had “Amazing Tacos AND Cakes.” Well…the have tacos, and they have cakes. However both are a far cry from “Amazing” and this is hardly a restaurant for that matter. The fact is, the place itself is too small to have tables inside, which for Arizona summers is a big necessity, but we had a to-go order so not such a big deal.

I ordered Carne Asada tacos, Spanish rice, some Tres Leches Pecan cake and some macaroons. My family and I love good tacos, however this was anything but. The meat was so very salty like it had been marinating in a salty brine for days. The Spanish rice was the opposite, no salt at all and completely flavorless. The macaroons had far too much sugar, the only saving grace was the tres leches cake that brought this rating up to 2 stars as opposed to 1. Ordered catering for 30 people. They went above and beyond in the care of preparation! Not only that, the food was amazing and everyone raved over how good everything was. Per my mom, “you can always judge how good they are by the way they make their beans!” And yup, they nailed it! Reminded me of how my nana and tata would make it. We had the fiesta party package.

For the cake, we ordered a two tier vanilla cake with banana pudding for filling. The design came out perfect and just how I envisioned it. The flavor of the cake was honestly top tier. It wasn’t too sweet to where you have one bite and done, but instead it was very well balanced and you can taste how the flavors all complement each other. It’s the kind of cake you can just keep eating and never get tired of the flavor. This is going to be my go to cake spot now.
