Pasteleria Elizabeth — Restaurant in Phoenix

Ordered for the 1st time and will not go back Called and sent her a photo of the cake i wanted she gave me a price of 65.00 When i called her to place the order she told me 85.00 i advised she had already given me a price and said ok 75 and i told her once again you told me 65 finally she was like ok 65 I ordered a small cake max 20 people strawberry flavor and strawberries n cream filling SENT HER THE EXACT PICTURE OF HOW I WANTED asked if she needed anything else she said no i placed your order Calls me back to tell me i needed to pay deposit to make my order which she already had told me previously she didnt need anything else I go in to pay deposit and we review picture and filling The day before my cake is to be picked up she calls me and asks if the color i want is a hot pink and i said yes just like the picture Day of i go to pick up the cake she asked for the rest of the payment before showing me the cake so i payed Brings out the cake and to my surprise its a purple cake looked like a barney cake instead of a masha and bear cake I let her know this is not the color at all doesnt even match any decorations She shows me the color bottle which is hot pink and i told her you added too much of it thats why its purple all she said was sorry i can take it off but its not my responsibility if it doesnt turn out the color you want IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY YOUR BEING PAYED AND IT WAS VERIFIED MULTIPLE TIMES I tell her no and i wont be ordering anymore from here its wrong not what i payed for I bring the cake home we cut it and to my surprise its not strawberries and cream its just strawberries and mermelade and the bread is dry I know many have great experiences but mine wasn't i have gone to another bakery for over 15 years and never had a problem but my sister likes this bakery so she had me try them...

I love "Pasteleria Elizabeth"! 💞💞💞 This bakery ( and I believe they make other foods too ) is just amazing . I needed not one but TWO birthday cakes in just a few days. 2 of my kids have back to back birthdays! They were so courteous, so helpful and so kind. They asked for the designs/ideas we were looking for and believe me , they did such an amazing job , I feel they did even more than I expected!🙏❤️. The cakes were definitely BEAUTIFUL, so lovely , so adorable to view and the kids LOVED them! Yay!🥳 The taste of the cakes were SO delicious, lovely flavor of chocolate in one and lemon in the other and they asked us for special fillings! Yum! 😋 The cake was so moist, scrumptious,the icing was whipped cream and had a splendid taste, making the cake both satisfying as well as not overly heavy . The look of the cakes was so smooth and flawless 😍...We will DEFINITELY be getting our cakes from Pasteleria Elizabeth from now on ! They truly made our days and our year...

This is the best Bakery Place in town, is on Baseline and 27th Ave. The owner and her girls are very courteous, Elizabeth the owner she is nice and very humble person, her place smells soo good and it’s so clean.. I love her cakes, I went for the first time back in December to see if I can find a cake for my son’s birthday, and she helped me to pick the right size and she decorated exactly how I wanted and the flavors of the bread and the filling inside was delicious. Me and my family loved it so much that am back again to buy the second cake for my grand baby. And one of Daughter’s came too like a month ago to buy a cake for her best friend. I really recommend Elizabeth Bakery’s she is the best in the south side of Phoenix/Laveen. Thank you Elizabeth...
