This place is a no go. Please please please don't go there for the sake of humanity. They are very rude and full of themselves, no business ethics, customers have no voice in this shop and they dont even make good hair. Was the biggest mistake I ever made. I went to make my daughter's hair and on getting there i showed them the style. At first they started passing me around each other. Later a lady was willing to make it. She took 10min to settle to make my daughter's hair. When she started she said she wants to change the style cos the one I choose was too much and she has some other things to do because it is Saturday. Then she went ahead to say if I added more money she will do it but still it wont be as full as the one in the picture I showed. I had to negotiate again and finally came to conclude the price over again. When she started she was picking my daughter's baby hair. I asked if she could just weave the hair before adding extension because of the baby hair. This made her upset. She said why dont I let her do what she wants instead of making a suggestion. I believe as a customer we have a voice, but to her she was doing me a favor for making my daughter's hair even though I was paying the agreed rate. She then started taking out the hair she had done and told me to leave. I asked why she was taking her hair out, she told me she is a professional and does not want to be questioned cos she knows what she is doing. I went on to tell her am a customer and i can tell what i want, but she and her co worker all disagreed as to having a voice on my daughter's hair. They dont have business ethics and very rude set of people over there. Save your money and go somewhere worth ur time and hard earn money. No go can come out...
Read moreSeriously this place! I went in for passion twist, which they said they could do on the phone. I get there with my own hair, for mid-back length medium size twist. They first tried to offer me their hair which was one, too short and two, would have taken more packs than they had to achieve the size and length of the style. So I said no, then they decided the hair I brought wouldn't work for individual passion twist either. So after speaking with the owner on the phone, they said they could achieve the style by crocheting the hair in. So, ok fine... upon completion of said crochet, they tell me they are done. No where in sight was a twist. Just a head full of back length curly untwisted hair. I voiced my frustration, paid and left!!! This was not a situation where I waited until the last min. and or wasn't paying attention. The job we agreed on was crochet the hair in, then twist the hair to achieve the style( AGAIN) because they claimed they couldn't use my hair to do the twist individually. If you can't do a style say so, don't bait and switch. Being from NYC i'm not afraid to pay for a good braided style, and have, as both myself and my daughter get our hair braided frequently. Read moreIm glad to hear the salon is open to feedback because there needs to be improvment with customer service. From my experiences and observations, there needs to be consistency with scheduling appts. Like a tracking system,so you know who is coming in...instead of talking walk-ins (to make more money) and turning those who made appts away because you dont have braiders. That's very unprofessional. For me personally I made an appt for 7am...and the braiders were about 30 mins late, and no contact provided on when I should expect someone here. I didnt sit down in the chair until 8am. I provided an example of what type of style I wanted and it was the complete opposite. My braids were still cute however, I should be paying for what I want. I wanted a knotless full bob and instead I got bulky knotless braids and it was NOT in a bob form. Checking in with your customers to ensure you are providing what they want is VERY important. I didnt see my hair until the very end, and I was super disappointed but yet paid for my service. I really hope you take this feedback into consideration. I would also recommend you get a working bathroom. Sitting for hours and not being able to stretch or use the bathroom is not professional either.
