First of all, it is very rare I give a company 1 star and wish I could give none. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, because I know sometimes we just have a bad day. However, yesterday day deserves a review with a 1 Star Rating, for the poor management and customer from just 1 employee. This was my second time here, the reason I came back, is because I thought I finally found a good nail tech and I didn't have to drive that hour to Scottsdale to Luxe Nails & Spa, which is fabulous and I will take that drive from now on. FYI; 7342 E Shea Blvd Ste 101 Scottsdale, AZ 8526 I went back to the nail tech with the short 2 tone hair, that sits by the window, I was pacific about what I wanted, which was just a different powder color from the last design I requested the first time I visited. This should of been simply, instead she made it complicated and thought I was going to just accept anything she applied to my nails. After seeing what she had done, and considering that we had already been there for awhile getting pedicures, that was also done incorrectly, again, I was willing to work with it. So, I waited to see what she was going to charge me, and just as I expected, she tried to charge me for something that was a different cost than what I originally asked her to do. I advised her that the charge should be adjusted, because she was not able to perform the work I asked for, now this should of been a simply fix right? Especially since I am the customer and anytime someone decides to choose your establishment to come back to, I want to make sure they come back again and again. I ended up arguing about something I was obviously right about, and instead of her saying, let me adjust that for you, the nail tech became Ugly, Nasty, and told me to shut up. I have to say, I hated that I even responded to her ignorance, and I allowed myself to even engage with her, but I did, because somethings must be addressed when it comes to shady practices and bad services, and that is what I received as a returning customer. Management never even said a word until it was time to pay, which he also tried me, by this time I was livid, but I was willing to pay for the services I received and I did, after the owner, finally saw that I was charged incorrectly and I did not get the work I requested that I came for. This was a terrible experience and I can usually let things go, but after I saw the other side of the poor leadership and business practices, I had to take a stand, you see after being Treated well and getting the same customer service as I did with Luxe nails and others. I just didn't feel I had to bow down to this behavior, of being verbally abused, lied to and ripped off. As they say, if you want the Best, you have to just go back to the places that gave you the Best. I am a business owner and anytime our clients are not happy, we make sure they are before they get off the phone or out the vehicle. We don't care what it may cost us, our clients are important and our drivers would be fired on the spot if we heard them speaking foul or disrespectful to our clients or...
Read moreI was not welcomed into the store a lady that came in after me was welcomed and requested the lady that sets in the back of the room. after waiting to 50 mins she then takes me to my seat and takes the lady who was walked into the shop after me to her seat and begins to work on her while i waited another 10 mins for another lady. Customer service was at its worst from my experience here today. The lady that takes me does give me a warm welcome and I understand that they had 3 people ahead of me but as a person that works for tips I understand I have my regulars but business is business and her pockets were more interested then the shop. I'm getting my nails done while I write so I have yet to rate the service I will rate that after this.
I do have to come back on and restate that when the lady walked in she pointed to this "tammy" and said I want you. I checked the book while I was waiting. If the lady had an appointment with her it would have been stated when she came into the shop. I didnt mind the almost hr wait but I do mind when I'm not treated fare by an employee. The costumer address tammy as "you". as a tipped employee I would never treat a person better then the rest because they are my regular. I also came back to the shop because my first experience with "tammy" went well. I will continue coming back because I live near zin but I will never get my nails done by tammy. Being that this was only my 2nd time I hope others dont have this experience. The lady that did my nails and I'm sorry but I forget her name was grate. even tho I am normally a very happy and talkative person I felt very unimportant and to upset to talk. She was nice and apologetic about the wait and did a nice job on my fill. $38 and I was there for 2 hrs I still tipped her $11 hope tammy was happy with the 5 she got from the other lady. lol hate to be petty but you cant build a good clientele by pushing others aside because she knows her or did her nails before. The lady should have made a real appointment but I already knew this would be the excuse. A simple apology would have been better. Read moreFirst time and last time here. Came in for a fill. I had gel polish but a regular full set. The price went up as I sat down. Went from $20 to $40. I decided to do a take off which was supposed to be $10. After I took off I asked how much would a gel polish be. I even asked her if I could pay in advance for the service. The gel polish was $10 when I verified at the counter. All of a sudden I get down with my nails done the lady writes down $20. In my mind I’m like ok (after I agreed to gel polish she changed the price to $7 for take off). When I got to the register she tells me it’s $27. I’m like how? She starts telling me the prices and I’m telling her what I verified. The lady who took off my nails came over and decided to argue and make a spectacle. I told her if you didn’t understand what I was requesting why did you verify the price. And you should’ve asked if you didn’t understand. Long story short she kept talking and trying to say gel is $20 not $10. But when I was going to get a fill it was $10. I should’ve just left when she kept changing the price. Do not come here. She obviously didn’t ring me up because she was going to change the price. She also told me a lie about how the cameras record conversations and she couldn’t change the price because she was scared to get in trouble. But then gave me a “discount”. When she argued at the register with me she said we could play the tape back. I said yea we can if you want and you can hear me ask what the price was for gel. At that point I guess she realized I wasn’t with the games: she changed the price to $25. In the midst of that she’s still talking. I said please stop talking to me and just charge me. Just hurry up and charge my card. Don’t waste your time here. I refuse to ever come back here....
