Ill be honest, this place is older, in fact the theater tech is really old. There is no Dolby digital, IMAX, or comfy recliners. For this I deduct the one star. The upsides are far more however, than a 4 star rating accounts for so I will explain. Price is 5 stars, for a father of 5 like me going to the big box theater costs a fortune, especially with tickets and concessions and outing can well go over $200. This place set me back less than $80 for tickets, popcorn and drinks for everyone, as well as candy. Absolute best deal around. Facilities 3 stars, are what you would expect for an older cinema, some of the chairs in the theater I visited were busted, bathroom a little small, but it did not affect my family's enjoyment in the slightest. Staff 5 stars, everyone smiling and happy to help. I even witnessed an employee advised to give a concessions discount for an issue, you won't see that at Grand theater. Kid friendly 5 stars, the Spiderman movie was packed with kiddos for a matinee showing, and not one person grumbled at the amount of times my five year old had to get up. He loved it btw! Overall, I will...
Read moreYesterday we took a very large group to see The Lion King. The movie was great, staff was friendly, but the management was terrible. He kept pinpointing out my toddler. Telling us to "shhhhh" "keep him quiet, or I'll have to ask you to leave" etc, etc. Randomly, out of excitement he would say "omg" "look at simba" "I dont like hyenas." He continued to harass our group, so much that our kid's didn't even enjoy themselves, for my daughter's birthday. I expected to hear how good the movie was, but all they are talking about is "the mean, big bald manager, that kept bothering us, for no reason." If I could give negative...
