First, the good. You can order online. Their main dishes are fine for Chinese takeout. Used to not have anything bad to say about this place. Unfortunately, not anymore. I've read an ownership change happened... Now, the bad. Canned fried rice . (Yellow sticky gross. ) I ordered online because unlike to make sure there is no miscommunication bc I needed to mushrooms bc of allergies, and I can write it in the order online. Brought the food home to my mushroom allergic mother. Full of mushrooms. Brought it back to the store with the receipt that specified no mushrooms the next time I was in town (so they knew I wasnt trying to scheme them bc I've now read the recent reviews). Lady at the counter was very nice. While I would have preferred a refund, she offered to remake it immediately. Then I hear an ensuing argument in the kitchen, and one or two men yelling at this woman. Shortly thereafter, a man entered the lobby from the kitchen and very loudly started yelling at me about I didn't say no mushrooms...so I pointed it out. Then more arguing in the back. I literally had a first response to feel like I was a kid in elementary school being yelled at for misbehaving! And I DIDN'T MAKE THE MISTAKE-HE DID! I even ordered a side item out of generosity just to help it seem like they were still going to profit from the mistake they made. The counter lady says "next time, call only to say the order is wrong". Ok, that's fine. I don't think I'll be having that problem again, since I won't be ordering from here for a while. Honestly, idk if I should even eat the replacement....the dude was so hot headed, sorta worried he might have added something "extra" to my food...but I dont know... Sorry nice lady, your boss/partner needs to meditate before he runs all your customers off for good...
Read moreI ordered through the Door Dash app for the first time tonight. Paid online through the app. After more than an hour i decided to just go get the food because our driver wasn’t even close.
I get to the restaurant explain I ordered through DoorDash and paid online, showed them my receipt, my bank account the money was withdrawn from. Calmly explain everything.
The guy behind the counter was EXTREMELY rude!!! Started screaming at me about not paying online and trying to steal food. I show him everything I have! He calls the owner...who shows up 10 minutes later. She tells me they don’t do DoorDash...I show her the app, I show her the receipt, my bank withdraw, everything! Try to explain calmly...she start yelling at me too!
I have never in my life experience worst customer service! Absolutely never encountered such rude people! NEVER! It was awful!
This is a small town, this is really the only carry out Chinese restaurant that is not a buffet in town. We only order from them maybe once a year when we get a craving for Chinese food.
The food is always only so-so. It’s really not that great. Maybe we just have high standards for Chinese food being from a large city originally, but the food sucks and we always immediately regret ordering from them. We will never again order...such a disappointment! Such BAD customer service!

Read moreThe owner's wife is the nicest person. Her husband, however, is very rude. He is short-tempered with us each time we phone in orders.
On our last visit, I called in the order and sent my daughter to pick it up. When she got there my $36 order came to over $50. We ordered four entrees that should have been just over $8 each but instead they charged over $9. They said the price increase notice is posted in their window but it wasnt mentioned when we called in the order.
My daughter brought pictures to show we were short an entree and our eggrolls. They didn't believe her and told her she needed to bring our entire order back to the store. She drove back home, picked up the entire order and myself. The owner was very rude. They prepared the missing entree. We get home and they still forgot the eggrolls. Worst of all, they never refunded our upcharge.
Ciao King used to be our favorite place to order Chinese food. After this last incident, we won't be back. Worst customer service ever!!!
Saw a friend's Facebook post on them today. She said the owner got frustrated and hung up on her. Guess nothing has changed... only...
