Mi Sol Azteca — Restaurant in Picayune

Got there tonight about 5:15 ordered fajita for two. At about 6 I watched as our food went to another table. Then they bring out the rice beans and lettuce and stuff and sit it on the table. My husband starts eating it cause of course we’re starving by now. About 6:10 the server comes to our table and says oh no they didn’t bring out your food. I tell her that I think they brought our food to another table. People who got there about 20 minutes after we did. At that moment I ask her what she is going to do. She said that our food would be right out. So at 6:15 I see the server bring another plate of fajitas to the exact same table where they already brought our food. I went to speak to a manager and I told them that I wanted my food to go and that we would never go back. Then as I’m waiting by the door with what I thought was our food wasn’t all of our food. Another server came and brought me the rest of our order. I should have known it was gonna be bad when our server walked up to the table beside us and I tried to tell her we needed another drink and she turned and walked away. Now it’s 6:53 and I’m finally home hoping they didn’t do anything to our food. That was our first time going. I will never go back and I will never recommend that restaurant to anyone. Last week I went to Mi Sol Azteca for the first time. I was with a party of 9, and 7 of us were there much earlier than the last two so we waited a while to order. Eventually the 7 of us ordered and the last 2 came a bit later and ordered before our food arrived. Neither my husband or I received our meal when the other 5 received theirs. We waited nearly half an hour until my husband finally asked the waiter where our dinners were. The waiter brought them out. They had obviously been sitting for quite some time without being brought to us. My tacos were soggy. Despite the poor service, I wouldn't recommend the food anyway. Other than my soggy hard shell tacos, the queso was very runny. If you are looking for something really cheap and care little about quality, this may be the place for you. I have heard the food is excellent but on the night I was there I never received my food so I really cant tell you how great it was. I was in a large group and I was the fortunate one who's order never came out the kitchen. For a group of 20 we had one server and she really tried. I gave her my order twice and on the third try I just ask For a simple appetizer like a nacho plate. I didnt get that either.. I did get my tea. The Manager came out to apologize, I accepted the apology. Then she said she would be glad to fix something for me.it was late and we had been there 2 hrs. I just told her I was done.
