Overbooked grandstand no where to sit and they know this at least a hour before the show to stop selling tickets but they still sell more to get more money this fair is not fair and is all about the money not about the family atmosphere that it should be about to small to have a demo durby cars had no where to move it was like having a demo durby in a parkinglot that has room for 18 cars and a small ile in the middle arena seems more for horses and they serve alcohol by the pitcher to people that are obviously intoxicated the fair is to afraid to loose a dollar that they serve to people that are stumbling over there own feet right infront of them i used to work at a bar and got fired for serving beer to a person that was as intoxicated as people i seen getting beer at the grandstand if they law applys to them they need thier liqour licence looked into cause it cant be legal to serve more alcohol to people just cause they are at a county fair then they can at a liqour store or bar and the pine county sheriff thats there dosnt care cause thats how the fair makes its money they were told more then once that the grandstand has people that are to drunk to walk and the cops just said as long as they dont see it it dosnt matter and then they walked the other way as if to show that they are alright with it and when people left driving cops left them alone so there was drunk drivers on pine city roads last night and they wernt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe made a round through the fair grounds. Fun food options, rides, carnival games were fun. However, we wanted to see animals. It was horrific. The rabbits, chickens and ducks sat in 95 degree weather stuck in stacked cages. They looked dead aside from the heavy panting. Awful scene. We made our way to see cows, sheep, goats and pigs. I won't sleep well for a long time. Caged, chained to foot long ropes and forced to lay against the wall or face the wall. They looked terrified and uncomfortable. The goats and sheep were crammed in small cages. They were terrified of people. The pigs were kicked repeatedly by people wearing steel toe boots and wacked in the face with sticks. The pigs were too hot and had no time to cool down between their "showing" at the auction. Once back to the cage, they wanted to rest after being walked and kicked in the presentation ring. The pigs screams were so loud. The goats had chains around their necks and were tugged all over the place. Children and adults were abusing dozens and dozens of animals in front of the public. Absolutely horrific scene. I don't know how people can treat animals this way. We are all connected. Humans are not superior. Too many people on this earth make a living torturing animals. I will pray for the animals and for each and every one of...
