Voyageur Bottle Shop — Local services in Pine City

The place was clean & well lit. Prices seem reasonable, however, my friend & I weren't greeted when we came in. After being in the shop for 5 minutes, an older lady came over & in a gruff tone asked if what we wanted. After helping & we said thank u she gruff replied uh huh & left. I noticed a paper sign on a column stating we're to wear masks. There wasn't a sign on the door & the lady wasn't wearing a mask either. As we were leaving, I noticed the same sign on another column but, this time it's by the sodas. No other signs & I did see masks available but, not signs telling customers to wear a mask & the counter has a divider up. This is my first time coming in & it's my last. I like the way the store is set up but, not the unfriendlyness. It was a total effort on the cashier's part to say good bye. No smiles. Not have a nice day. Not even inviting us bk. Great selection at great prices.

Parking lot needs clearer signage as to what is and isn't the liquor store parking lot.

There's an apartment building or something next door and they share the same lot. Absolutely zero signs regarding what spots are for the liquor store and what spots are for the apartments.

By accident we parked in a apartment spot and got blocked in by one of the residents. What should have been a quick 5 minute trip to the bottle shop turned into a half hour of trying to get ahold of somebody to move the car so we could leave.

Finally the resident came back out and after a verbal altercation finally moved his truck.

What should have been a pleasant experience turned sour for what ultimately was a misunderstanding.

The bottle shop really should have better signs, as well as the apartments.

I will take my business elsewhere...

There's a good selection of wines, and all kinds of whiskeys that are new. Plenty of choice for just about anything you wanna drink. Seems like there arent too many things on sale and the prices are higher than other liquor stores. But thats what happens when they are the only liquor store in town.
