when I was a kid, I used to go to the pool all the time I Loved it But recently I visited it I went to go have a nice time with my friend we Got there a little early like about 30 minutes early we walked to the front and then an employee named john yells at us that the pool doesn’t open at 11; no greeting, no manners, nothing, he was extremely rude and ruined our visit completely then he continues off by making a joke about our private conversation, so we say okay and we ignore that. We continue going about our day and we go in the deep end while there’s people diving because we’ve been seeing other people do it All day and again the employee john comes up to us and yells at us like we are children with no respect at all that we cannot be in the deep end and did not even let us respond. I go ahead and I say one of the lifeguard said I could be here and he says who and I pointed her and I tell him who it was and he doesnt say anything and walks away from us disregarding what we said after. He goes to talk to the lifeguard and doesn’t talk to us at all again. Not only that, but we asked two lifeguards after and they said that it depends on which lifeguard is on duty that if you can be in the deep end while the divers are diving on the diving board, which is absolutely ridiculous you have one lifeguard telling you something and you’re getting yelled at by another one because you’re doing Something he just doesn’t like. He continued to make our day worse by giving us a weird stare which made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable. It’s crazy how you guys are OK with this type of behavior How your employees can get away with this? I have never experienced anything like this in any type of place ever he has to be one of the rudest and worst employees you guys have. Genuinely I have never experienced anything like this in any other pool that I’ve gone to He was completely out of line and needs to learn To treat customers with respect. as many years as I’ve been going to this pool I would never return again because of the experience...
Read moreI brought my son for swim lessons here last spring. He loved the water but didn't swim.
The first day he was completely traumatized! He was forced to do things he wasn't ready for and the instructors didnt pay much attention to how afraid he was. Maybe the class size was too big and my son didn't get the individual attention he may have needed? It was so bad that after the third day he cried hysterically when we pulled up to the pool. I withdrew him from the classes because it was awful and he wasn't learning anything.... and wasnt offered a refund.
I went to register him for private Swim lessons yesterday and the second we pulled up to the pool he started crying again!
He enjoys the pool at my mom's and loves the beach but the idea of having swim lessons again scared him to pieces!
What was supposed to be a positive learning expierence with pine island pool has turned into an unhealthy fear of...
