Kickstands Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Pine Island

I was so disappointed today when I brought my friend here for his birthday today. We walked in and took a seat at a table.

We were greeted and asked what we would like to drink. We got it. My unsweetened ice tea tasted like water and my friend wanted to put sugar in and the bags were like they were moist at one time. At no time did anyone acknowledge his that said he was a veteran. Its Memorial Day weekend!

The music was blasting AC/DC in our ears to where we couldn’t hear ourselves think let alone talk. The lady turned it down for us when we started moving to another seat because of it. My friend said he loved music but not that loud.

As we sat there talking my friend noticed none of the employees had a smiles. Particularly the young server for those eating outside.

We ordered a cheese burger and a hamburger and fries. The food came out and WOW they had changed. We had a what looked like a slider. No kidding.

As we began to eat the burger had no taste. The bun fell apart as I was trying to eat it. I used my fork and knife. I stopped because the burger had no flavor. I showed the server and she made a joke about it. She took my plate away and saw it was not eaten all the way. She didnt ask how it was! BIG MISTAKE!!

My friend was not impressed with his burger and his fries either. The minute he looked at it he said he wasn’t coming back. His fries looked like they poured the end off the bag. He had a bunch of burnt little peaces of French fries. He had to eat his burger carefully so his didn’t fall apart like mine.

I wish I could add a picture I took! It was a mess! I still have a bad taste in my mouth.

My wife and I stopped here for Breakfast on March 26, 2025 while on a 3 day camping trip on Pine Island. Inside atmosphere was clean, but nothing fancy. The service was good, but the breakfast wasn't great. French toast was supposed to be on "Texas Toast" but came out as plain old white bread that was barely battered and overcooked. It looks like this place caters to old men with Harley Davidsons who ride out here to the island on the weekends in groups. We were not impressed with anything, but it wasn't a terrible experience either. I don't think it's a great place for breakfast, but it might be better for...

1st time for breakfast here. Services was horrible, waitress had to come by 3 times to verify our order and still didn’t get it right. 2 other tables walked out. We had to ask for everything from silverware to napkins. We stayed to try the food but probably should have left as well, I had the breakfast burrito, sausage, very bland and a lot of liquid in it and hash browns were tasteless. Pancakes were okay but took forever to come out, probably from the mistakes with the orders. Not worth the $30 bill by any means. I will give them a second chance in a few...
