Generally I've been impressed with the cleanliness of the store, and friendly and helpful staff. Feeling quite disappointed today though. We recently bought some "Pick and Prep" pre-packaged tangerine slices, which the whole family has been snacking on as we come and go. I just grabbed a few slices as I was headed out the door, popped them in my mouth, and felt what I thought was going to be a piece of plastic from the container or something. When I removed the hard, sharp object from my mouth, I found it to be a large piece of what appeared to be a woman's fingernail. DISGUSTING! Are the staff preparing these packages not wearing gloves? I'm not saying all of their prepackaged fruit is bad, but beware that it's quite possible sanitary practices may not always be followed. Even after rinsing the tangerines, this piece of fingernail managed to stick itself to a piece of tangerine, and elude discovery. Bottom line here is I'll likely not be purchasing any "prepared in store" items here anymore until I can feel confident the food is being handled...
Read moreDo not order from the order pick up they’ll leave half your order off and you will be SOL. I ordered 7 things. Yet how they forget 3 of the items. I tried to be understanding but due to their carelessness I had to spend 40 extra dollars buying dinner tonight. No rotisserie chicken no fries no cookies. A sorry isn’t going to feed my family. And after 45 minutes of notifying them of the issue they offered to deliver but I live 25 minutes away. That was too late because my kids needed dinner now not 7-8 pm. Contrary to others we believe in a schedule. I won’t be back but I will be back tomorrow to return this half order that was anything but convient and quality. Then Marge refunded the chicken but not the fries when she could’ve scooted right over to the to go area and see my fries in that freezer. Now I have to make another trip to the store wasting gas after 3 calls. Like I’m not calling for my health. Train your staff to verify the orders and give customers what they pay for. If something was out of stock refund me for such but I just checked my card...
Read moreI have had more negative experiences with this store than positive. For example, the "lobster tank" has dead or dying lobsters with algae and scum on them. Why are they there! They offer Lowe's card discounts that don't ring up at checkout, so you have to go to the service desk to pay for your purchases. Tshey also put food for sale that is past the expiration date,..no warning or discount. It seems they put a lot of money into "image" and being cool that could be spent to offer a better quality of goods. Don't waste your time and money, go to another store....I tried to support them , but can't do it after so many bad experiences. Go see for yourself, then compare...
