Generally good experiences which I rated 4 stars under another email address, BUT one was not very good. I ordered (and paid for) online a generator w/ electric start that was on sale as a Deal of the Day. When I went to pick it up the associate asked me if I still wanted the electric start model since the only one that he had was a pull start model.
Another associated stated that the model I ordered was coming in from another store. I said “fine, call me when it arrives". That's when the "fun" began... Received a call that they could not get the model I ordered. I asked if there was a comparable model they could offer. The associate checked with the General Manager and emailed me a model from True Value that also had a pull start. I did some research and found a comparable one (regular price and features) through T.V., but they said they could not order that one as a replacement? Why could they get one from T.V., but not a different one?
I requested a refund via email and was originally told I needed to come to the store to have it entered, but then was told I could call which I did, and it handled OK.
I was told that the original model I ordered could have been given to another customer, OR it could have been an inventory glitch and one was not actually available when I ordered and paid for it. Whatever the reason, it was a pretty disappointing and...
Read moreHuge line to checkout. The cashier was doing a wonderful job with being the only register opened. This didn't bother me. What really bothered me was two guys sitting and talking for a good ten minutes in the front office. No one could help this poor girl ringing people out. A lady approached and talked to the assistant manager. I overheard the conversation and agreed with her. He did nothing to help the situation. I asked him if he as an assistant manager knew how to run a cash register? His response...shop elsewhere. At that point I walked away. No team work and it starts with management! That cashier truly deserves this man's job. No support. Very disappointed. Hopefully...
Read moreI’m at busy beaver right now and there is not 1 car in the parking lot other than the employees and now I see why. A regular outlet receptacle is .77 anywhere else in the city but at Busy Beaver it’s $2.14. The plug covers are $1.99 each. ROFLMAO. if you are going to compete with other contractor stores you have to be competitive (which you are not). This is the 100th time I’ve come here and they don’t ever have what I need and when they do it’s 3X more than any where else. I won’t be coming back. As for the great deals card, what and where are the great deals? I’ve never received anything and been coming here for 20 years. I won’t be back. I’m sick of...
