Dear Diamond 9 Sports, First off thank you for getting me back in collecting cards. I understand you are a business and need to make profits. The way I felt coming in today buying over $300s worth products I was extremely excited to open some packs and hope to get a nice hit and enjoy my day. Quickly was all ruined over something so small that it left such a sour taste in mouth that I won't be coming back. After my purchase I just wanted some penny sleeves that that have been always $1 or sometimes even free. I had that 1 dollar and the price went up to $1.50. Which is fine so I go back to my car get the 2 quarters to fulfill the transaction. Upon leaving I was approached by the owner while whipping his face clean from lunch, telling me that the prices are the price and if I didn't like it then I can go somewhere else and again this was all over $.50 cents. Hope that interaction was worth it losing local collector and loyal customer. I will take the multiple thousands of dollars I transact to another card shop down the street. Purchased a table online. It was gonna be my first time setting up at Diamond 9. I came down with a sinus infection Sunday night, and tried to fight it off, took Monday - Wednesday off of work to be able to rest up and come into setup for my table I purchased. I called and no answer both Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. So Wednesday after they didn’t answer I walked in. They took my number down and said they call me back. They didn’t call me back. It was 4pm so I figured I’d go speak with the owner myself. He assured me his policy was online and he just said that twice and said yeah, sorry. He didn’t want to reschedule my table for a future date. Basically took my $30 and smiled and said to leave there was nothing he could do. Yes I know what your policy says. I went there today to sell some cards and was very happy with the knowledge they had about my cards even though I knew exactly what they were worth and everything jus wanted to see if they were going to be honest and fair with there offer a younger kid helped me out I kinda think they under bided me with what my cards were worth I had like 20 plus cards and one alone was worth 80 bucks and the others were like 5-15 bucks each and I was offered 84 bucks for all of them was kinda in need of the cash so I sold them but if I sold them elsewhere I would have probably got way more money the lot was worth 240 but oh well but on the flip side they had the new pokemon set out which I purchased some I spent 87 bucks lol 😂 so I guess I jus gave them back the money lol 😂 good thing is I used my credit card so I can pay it off slowly.. i got some killer pulls so very pleased with it.
