Bonita's Carry out , has the best soul food in Georgia. It's a must go in and dine. The atmosphere , the food, and the energy is so heart warming and what's needed in today's society. The building and restrooms are so fresh and so clean. The greens, fried corn bread, fried chicken, fried and smothered pork chop, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and cake was mouth watering. Every item was made from stretch , and every item that I ate tasted like your Gramma or Nana made it. The owner stated that it's all prepared and cooked with love. Bonita and her family are responsible for one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Fried catfish, grits, pancakes, corn cakes... I wish I could have stayed longer to try all of Bonita's incredible dishes, but her talent as a chef and kindness as a human radiate through each bite of her delicious, delicious food. You are welcomed as family immediately when you step into her space, and her pre- and post- (and during-) meal chats were just as wonderful as her food. Hear me out now. Ya know how you start dancing when you see some scrumptious food getting put on a plate JUST FOR YOU then keep on dancing while ya eating it? Or how your smile gets real big when they ask if'n you want some sweet tea while they ladle some gravy on your smothered pork chops? I always cook for everyone and rarely eat out.
