This is the third time my wife and I have passed through Plains ga, but the first time we shopped here. This place has a large selection of nick nacks. There are alot deserts like jams and jellies spiked with a little extra juice if you know what I mean...wait till you get to the house. Their honey has a better, richer flavor than the regular stuff at grocery stores and of course, I can't forget about their peanut ice cream. Stopped in Plains, GA today after my first visit nearly 15 years ago. I stopped by Mr. Philip Kurland’s shop. He was so kind and engaging and had wonderful stories to tell of his time with President Carter and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter. He also has a fine collection of pins, buttons, postcards, and other interesting political memorabilia.
