This establishment is under new management now and after my experience today I will not be returning. I’ve been a customer for 2+ years because I love John and Hannah’s work. Today I showed up to my 10am Mani and Pedi appointment and unfortunately John and Hannah were out of town. I was the first customer to arrive and service at first was prompt, they started on my pedicure and another tech started taking off my Nexgen. Another customer arrived right after me without an appointment for a mani and pedi and was serviced by two techs as well. As soon as the tech taking off my Nexgen was about to start on my manicure, two other customers walked in without an appointment wanting to get their nails done. So before my tech could even start on my manicure, the new manager called him over to start working on the two new customers that just walked in. No one took over his place to come and finish my nails. By the time my pedicure was completed, the customer that arrived right after me was done with her mani and pedi (she had no appointment) and her tech came over to finish my manicure. At that point I didn’t have more time to sit for a manicure. The entire point of setting an appointment is to get the services completed at the same time and be a priority before walk-ins. I have never had this issue until today. The manager intentionally took my nail tech away in order to make more money to be able to accommodate the two walk-ins. Then at the end, the manager had the nerve to try and apologize saying that it’s hard to get two nail techs at the same time. I’m so sad I won’t be able to get my nails done by Hannah and John anymore because they were AWESOME, but I will not support new management that doesn’t take care of their...
Read moreI’ve gone to gloss a couple times with decent experiences. This last time, though, when the nail tech was removing my previous gel (didn’t get her name but she’s middle-aged and has dyed, wavy shoulder-length hair and wears glasses when working), drilled my nails so thin that it started to hurt. For context, my nails are naturally strong and thick, so the fact that I left with flimsy / bendy nails was a huge red flag. The other red flag that confirmed she had drilled way too much was that when the gel was curing under the UV lamp, my nail beds were BURNING. When I asked her why she drilled it so hard - like reallyy pressing down over and over again on my nails - she said some bs about the base still being on there and that the gel is what makes nails thick. I’ve been getting gel manicures for years, so I know what my nails are like with and without them - they’re not flimsy.
I have had better experiences with a couple of the younger nail techs, though, so IF I ever come back, I’ll make sure to...
Read moreEDIT: went in for another deluxe manicure, same great service but my nails chipped away faster than before and I haven’t even done anything that would cause them to break off so easily. Maybe it’s the color or whoever does it but it’s so disappointing. Only had these nails for less than a week.. And I can’t even go in to get them fix because I’m moving out of state today. This place is a hit or miss.
Went into today for a deluxe Manicure and Pedicure and left extremely satisfied with my service. Kate & Shayla were extremely gentle with me and took the time to make sure my Nails were were perfect and dry. I believe it was kate who went as far as to replace my bandaid on my foot since I had a bit of scabs on my foot from scratching due to my pregnancy she didn’t have to do that and I appreciated it so much. Last of all the prices were reasonable and they had a huge selection of color which is a bonus if your a bit picky like I am. Will definitely recommend this Nail salon to...
