I recently rediscovered this place after a long hiatus. My back was killing me after a long day at work and I suddenly remembered 'Hey! The hot tub place is just up the road!'
The friendly front desk person greeted and set me up with a tub. You are given a choice of available temperatures and open air or closed in tub enclosures.
I like the outdoor ones but the closed in ones are nice too. The enclosures are well maintained with plants growing around and the tubs are clean. The water does have a strong chlorine smell, which I suppose it has too. I bring a small bottle of liquid soap to wash off after a soak to get the chlorine smell off. (Soap is not permitted in the tub itself but not a problem when showering off as near as far as I know.)
I've not run into any problems with folks in neighboring tubs making noise. You can sometimes hear voices but during my visits nothing too disturbing. I do wish they prohibited smoking, I am sensitive and I do get a whiff of tobacco and other smoke every now and again.
The price isn't too outrageous but high enough that I can only go every 2-3 weeks without stretching the budget a bit. I may invest in one of their punch cards for the discount it provides.
All in all I recommend it. A pleasant relaxing atmosphere, not seedy at all like some hot tub places...
Read moreI recently visited and was given the option of temperature of 102 pr 103°. It was rather cool night,so I opted for the hotter. Turns out,I still had to enter in increments, which was okay with Me,since I had brought kitchen 60 minute timer with me; which also gave Me a little extra leeway to exiting the tub ,PRIOR to the 19 minute heads up given before your hour ends. 1/10/25 ps Just a reminder that hat rate has increased by two dollars, making it $25.00 per person, per hour. 1/10/25 I love this place. They have been my go to for my water soak therapy for over 25 years now. This is definitely a place you should be able to enjoy;especially if your on a limited time budget AWAY from your kids, and just need that no barge in, or constant of the bathroom door conversations between you and whomever is on the other side. I miss the house cat that was an iconic sign for me that I am here to relax! Table for one, lol PS, I stopped in on a Friday at 9pm and they were booked up for the night. Not discouraged, went back on Sat morning before noon and all was good. I like the 10 minute left heads up too! Update: my recent visit was peaceful and quiet. I had an open aired space which allowed me to enjoy a...
Read moreThis place is pretty cool. If you love relaxing in a hot tub, but don't have access to one, now you do. From the outside it looks like a little house, but looks are deceiving at this place. You go into the lobby and it looks a little run down, but clean and cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide towels, they are on the small side, so personally I would bring one with, but to each its own. Then you go through another door to the back outside area and it is a little oasis. There is a place to sit with a fountain with foliage which was cute. Then there are all these bungalow type rooms. You find your number and enter your private bungalow for some relaxation. Some of the bungalow's are covered, others offer a sky view. There is a little bench in a changing area, a plug for your phone or a speaker, a shower, a mirror, an ash tray for smokers, and a hot tub. You can have up to three people per bungalow. It is completely private. The only time the staff comes to the door is when you have minutes left of the hour you pay for. It is not expensive either, $20 bucks for one hour. I am so glad I found this place and will definitely...
