We came here for a team building exercise through my work and absolutely LOVED IT!! The owners are the instructors, and are fantastically hands on. The instructions are clear and concise, you would have to actively try to screw it up, and even then you probably won't. The choices of projects are extensive and fantastic, they had examples of all the different paints on all of the different stains so you can know exactly what the finished project will look like. First, you distress the wood to your liking (awesome way to blow off some steam!), then choose your stain, set up your stencil, and then paint it to your heart's desire. I went to a birthday party at Studio D3 and it was such a fun and fulfilling experience. First off, you get an email about a week in advance where you can choose your design or even send in a lookalike you want or a quote and they will design it for you (Darcie has a background in graphic design!). You even pay online so you literally just show up to your event and have fun!

You get to distress your boards, put them together, stain, and put your stencil/painton. There is nothing more satisfying than peeling your last bit of vinyl off your boards, revealing your gorgeous sign. You don't need to be crafty to enjoy this activity either! We had a large party for our monthly cousin get together. This place was wonderful with communication right from the beginning. They were very helpful and fun to be with. I also appreciate and should mention my mom is on oxygen and has pretty severe lung issues when we first began the projects we were not sure if she could stay.
