Bernal Community Park — Local services in Pleasanton

Ok, so you know how there are parks that are so nice people drive to them in order to spend time there? This is NOT one of those parks. Another poorly designed city park with little to no shade. This is NOT a destination park if you want to go to a beautiful park to take a walk or have a picnic. The only reason I can see for going there is to go to a game at the sports parks or go to one of the playgrounds. Or convenience if you live nearby. It's been 10 years, and the trees have barely grown. It's supposed to be restored Oak Woodlands. It is not even close. 2 stars for restroom and bio swales /rain catchment pond. I absolutely love this park-- it has everything a park should have, including an undeveloped space perfect for kite flying (of which this town is in short supply) and polluted air from the many stoners to smoke their dope. If that's your thing, this is the park for you.

Bernal community park is is one of the biggest community park in the beer area. Have a lot of soccer field, basketball field, picnic areas with the table and chairs with barbecue grills, playground for the kids, walking trails and have a really open big field to walk and run your dogs.
