I was born in Brielle, now live in Arizona, and work and travel all around the globe. One of the great passions of my life is enjoying great food, and connecting with people who also appreciate the important role food plays in culture and society. The team at Lovelandtown “get it,” and on a recent visit back to my hometown I was a daily customer of theirs. If I lived here, I would be there every day to do my daily shopping. Lovelandtown is giving the Shore the chance to respect and cherish real food the way our parents and grandparents did, and the way many cultures still do around the world. They do all of the hard work, and find incredible local farmers and purveyors who produce real food that is free of preservatives and chemicals. Yes, real food is more expensive than processed food, but of course it’s worth respecting ourselves and our families by enjoying beautiful, delicious, natural foods. I couldn’t be HAPPIER that this grocery has finally opened their doors!! To put it simply, it’s the best. Whether I’m walking in for a quick cup of coffee or to grab something DELICIOUS from the deli, I know I’ll always be greeted by a friendly face (yeah, I’m looking at you Ro!). Yes, to some, the prices may seem high but it’s bc EVERYTHING is locally home grown, fresh, and organic! You can’t get this kind of food anywhere else and in my opinion, I think the prices are spot on. We just had our wedding catered from the Loveland, I have never heard so many good things about the food at a wedding before. Every single detail and ingredient was perfect. We fell in love with the food and the beautiful couple during our tasting and it was a super easy process all the way to the day of the wedding. Coming from an Italian family, food at a wedding is more important than if you both said “I do” I would reccomend this place for the rest of my life. It was everything we could ask for and more.
