If there was a ZERO STAR OPTION - this company deserves it! I ordered a very specific insulated glass, with a particular thickness that fits my window opening frame. I received the glass, delivered to my house and measured it to make sure it’s the right thickness. I was surprised to find out it’s 1/8” thicker so I called the office and spoke to Frangil. He told me that the delivery guy will bring it back to their shop to inspect it. They checked it and emailed me back that the glass stands with the “STANDARD INDUSTRY” of 1/8” tolerance, a narrative that doesn’t exist in no world and that’s what they got for me. Also - he said that I need to pick it up from the store because they won’t deliver it again - after they did the mistake and delivered a wrong item. I paid for this glass $700 and it doesn’t fit my window. I asked him if they let their customers know that there’s a “STANDARD INDUSTRY” - he said no. This case is already at my attorney office and they going to meet me at court. Don’t fall in their trap fellows! Recommending warmly to make sure that you get exactly what you order before you pay hundreds of dollars that go to the garbage.
This industry must be precise on the dot, you can’t play with 1/16” or 1/8” when it comes to glass thickness for windows and doors.

We are a custom stair and rail company that has been around for 40 years in Palm Beach County. Recently, we have used Downey Glass for two large residential projects. Both projects required us to lose the money associated to our contract as we had to reorder the glass on the entire project over again. We had Downey Glass attend a site meeting to review a very large estate home as the items we received were incorrect as well as damaged. Natasha and Tiffany refused to stand behind their product and said, “ You will have to just reorder all the glass”. So we went to an alternate manufacture because we would get nowhere with these two mentioned. Project number two was ordered at the same time as the other one. We crossed our fingers hoping for a better outcome. Only to be back in the same position as the previous project and had to pay for another entire project order with a different manufacturer. We requested to speak with an owner or supervisor in which they refused to connect us with. Years ago this company was amazing. We did hear that recently it was bought out and when down hill immediately....
Read moreIf there was the choice to give 0 stars to this company, I would do it. The owner, Angela Soto-Downey, seems to be just a greedy person only there for the profit, and with little to no interest about the condition in which the glass will be delivered to the clients ( most time of the time will be either late or damaged.) Her son, that works there too, screws up the hardware orders all the time. Mrs Soto/Downey is the stereotypical cold and detached lawyer, who is in just for the money - hers- and that does not care about keeping a good relationship neither with her clients nor her employees. But mostly, she definitely does not care about the well being of her employees .The female employees have to SHARE THE BATHROOM with random male contractors that come in and out; which is really inconsiderate; and by looking at how dirty and dusty she keeps her employee's working areas, the showroom,-with those super dusty glass square samples- and those dirty bathrooms, she definitely shows how she doesn't give a damn about anyone 's but her well being. I will never go...
