I was always under the assumption that State farmers markets was a safe haven for truck drivers coming out of state or in-state drivers to have a place to park get something to eat relax rest take a break, but here at pompano it seems that this parking lot is 85% full of local trucks no one in them cars parked in truck parking spots because the local drive wants to hold his parking spot for when he gets back, and you can go any farmers market in this state and that does not happen. They're using this place as a permanent parking spot for free on a taxpayers dime. And the people that suffer are the out-of-state drivers that need some place to park get something to eat use the bathroom while they're waiting to get their load from here to Miami. I don't know who is in charge this market but they're doing a horrible job and something needs to be done about it he just gotten worse and worse and is out of control. I hear lots of truck drivers talking about how bad it is here can't park there anymore. lots of guys like to come and just stop at Dimitri's restaurant and get something to eat can't do it and now his business suffers because of this problem. SO I hope whoever reads this that works for the State of Florida Agriculture department takes note and comes down here and sees this problem for themselves because at this point right now I can walk around this parking lot and guarantee I could count at least 75 plus trucks not running with no one around with Florida tags on them. This is not a free local parking spot! It's a safe haven for agriculture / produce drivers to...

In times where parking is in short supply, especially in south Florida, and high demand they've decided to cut space. Honestly, whoever is in charge of this site can't seem to get their head out of their posterior. They should be fired and replaced with someone that knows how to manage space better. Of course the majority of people parked here aren't even in their trucks. Good...
