Not as good as it used to be a few years ago. I purchased a couple 12-ft 1x4s I simply needed them cut in half. So the yard guy that brought them to the saw placed them there walked away only to return with another customers four by four which he cut in half after removing my wood from the saw. Then he walked away. So then I went over to the saw to cut them myself at which time one of the guys from the register came out and made the cut for me. The only exceptions have been specialized electrical or plumbing needs, but those are difficult to find anywhere outside of major cities.
