Poor Boy Bait — Local services in Port Lavaca

There wasn't any experience at the Poor Boy Bait. I called twice, once about 18:45/6:45PM & again at 19:15/7:15PM. I didn't get an answer either time. I finally found this bait house about 19:20/7:20PM. They were closed. The Poor Boy Bait advertise on Google they stay open until 21:00/9PM. I am new to this area. I recently purchased a new house. I'm not familiar with Port Lavaca, TX. This is the 2nd bait house that I did a Google search for in Port Lavaca. The 1st search was for BvB's which is supposed to stay open 24/07. Google maps kept sending me to some motel on Hwy 35N. I also called BvB's bait house. No one returned my call from here either. Doesn't anyone return phone calls in...

The best bait and tackle in town and Lavaca Bay. Really nice shop next to the marina of port lavaca. Not to far from the harbor along the bay front. Fishing here is very enjoyable! The park is in walking distance restrooms, pavilions, picnic areas and free water park. Fishing off the piers and thought the bank of the bay front. Boat ramp and plenty of parking.
