Mexico Tipico — Restaurant in Port Lavaca

My husband and I got there and sat down, waited over 5 minutes to finally get service. We had already located another near by restaurant and were about to get up and leave when the waitress came to the table. Keep in mind the place only had one other table with customers and one at the register. The chips and salsa are really good, but fyi the menu says you will be charged if you get more than 2 refills of chips. Also on the wall they had a notice saying you will be charged for refills of fountain drinks and horchatas. The plate we ordered was pretty good, we shared it and were both full. There was a girl that we thought worked there and when we asked she rudely replied no. But she seemed to be there just to hang out with the waitress. The waitress was also not at all friendly and only came to check on us once after receiving our food. We don't go back just because of the "customer service"...

This place was ridiculous my mother in law wanted grilled shrimp plate and the waitress had the nerve to argue with her she need fired she never checked on our table she was rude to us she brought my fiancés food but give him the wrong one and then laughed and said you wanted fajitas right he replied yes like she knew she was wrong and brought him Burritos instead my burger was burnt to a crisp fries were freezing cold I’m a waitress myself and this was not the way you treat your customers at all she was rude oh and 2minutes it took her to get our order not worth the wait and money never again...

Walked in, no sign telling you to seat yourself, the only employee that talked to me was a younger guy, let me know to seat ourselves. Sat down, waited for 15 minutes, watched the waitresses serve 3 other groups who had walked in before us. People got their food, we hadn't even got drinks yet. We walked out without ordering anything after 25 minutes of sitting and waiting. Waitresses made eye contact with us several times and just looked around, walked into the back, and didn't approach. Not how you treat customers if you want them...
