Do not trust The Cherry Tree with anything important to you.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. My aunt placed and paid for a simple prom flower order over a month in advance, giving more than enough time. Yet after multiple phone calls, visits, and zero accountability, the flowers were still not ready the day of prom. And when it mattered most? The owner was nowhere to be found, she had left to take care of her own child's appointments instead of honoring the commitments she made to paying customers.
There was no apology. No warning. No plan to fix it. Just blatant disregard for others.
What makes this even more upsetting is how devastating it is for the parents who worked so hard to make this day perfect. Parents aren’t just buying flowers, they’re investing in a memory. They’re trying to make sure their children and their dates feel special, celebrated, and cherished. Watching my aunt scramble, heartbroken, trying to salvage something that should have been handled weeks ago was infuriating and heartbreaking.
Even worse? This is not a one-time mistake. After she shared her experience online, the comments were flooded with stories from others who had been similarly let down in past years. This business has a clear and consistent history of ruining important moments, and it is absolutely unacceptable that they continue to take people’s money with no intention of delivering on their promises.
At best, this is negligence. At worst, it is a complete scam.
You deserve better, and your kids deserve better, than last-minute chaos and the most blatant unprofessional behavior I have ever heard of.
To all of those that also share similar experiences with this terrible business, I...
Read moreI called to get three star gazers for my daughter to put in her daddy's casket. She is 9, and he loved those flowers. I asked to pick them up Monday, which was Labor Day. They said that is was okay. We did not have definite arrangements times yet but I knew it would be one of those days. I called Saturday to make sure everything was okay and we were good to go moving forward. I paid when I ordered. No one answered Saturday and the voicemail was full. I called Monday and left a message, my uncle went by to pick them up, and my aunt called and left a message and sent a text. Nothing. NO response. Not a return call. My uncle waited around to see if they were out for delivery like the note on the door stated. I called Thursday 9/10/20 to speak to the owner/manager. No return call until Friday morning 9/11/20. Katherine stated she was sorry and she could refund me and still give us the flowers. Sorry and a refund does not correct this mistake. Should have never happened in the first place. I have always heard good things about The Cherry Tree, but my experience was...
Read moreThis is what I sent to them when receiving the plant and I never received any response from them.(Skylar plant was just left on the doorstep. I saw it when I got off at 5:15 P.M. There were no smiling face balloon on it neither which I specifically asked for) I have ordered from them before and never had this type of issue. This was suppose to be a special moment and it turned out horrible wrong. Skylar didn't receive the plant until I got off and found it. No ringing the doorbell or calling to say we have a delivery for you, NOTHING!!! This is what I received for 70 plus dollars. All I wanted was an acknowledgment to my concern. I was totally dismissed. I envy all the others that received great service. It bothered me because I told them this was a special moment and by the looks of the 70 plus dollar plant and where it was left it didn't matter to...
