
I am so thrilled to have found Becca !! She is a blessing from above. I have had several horrific haircuts from other, supposively, great salons, with very negative results. Becca was so patient and listened as to what I wanted and took the time to explain to me that it would be a process, but, we could begin by shaping ( as I did not have a lot of length, previous cut extremely short by another salon stylist) and as my hair grew, we could cut it to be the hairstyle that I wanted. Becca thoroughly listened and understood my wishes, and took the time to evaluate my hair ( thickness,layers,broken hair b/c the previous salon hairstylist used a very full razor and ruined my hair ! The salon hairstylist IS NOT Orchid Salon !” When Becca cut and styled my hair, I was in tears !!! Not b/c us was a horrible cut, but, it was exactly what I wanted and I finally could go out in public with confidence and not embarrassment over how my hair looked. It looks amazing !!!! I could not thank Becca enough ! Mere words cannot express how appreciative and thankful I am for Becca and her knowledge,skills, and customer service. She truly cares about her clients, and it shows through her services and her sweet, caring, fun personality. I was so afraid to have another new person to cut my hair. Becca welcomes me with open arms and made me feel so comfortable and assured me that I could trust her. I did, and I’m certainly grateful for Becca and all her skills. I might add, from the moment I walked into this beauty,peaceful, clean, warm, inviting salon, greeted by a beautiful smile and welcome from the receptionist Abby😊. Then, seconds later, Becca came and greeted me with a beautiful smile and welcomed me. After we talked fir quite a while, I felt like I had know Becca for ages !! She is so very personable, as is Abby(Receptionist). Also, something that also tells you that this salon cares about their clients, I received a call a few dats after my appointment, checking to see how I liked my service,haircut and asked if there was anything that they could do differently. How many salons do this ???? NONE, other than Orchid Salon !! This is a wonderful hair salon with much warmth,class,skilled and caring hairstylist. No better place to go, if you want a fabulous haircut, color, and hairstylist that communicate with you and care about you and what you want, not like other upscale salons, that do what they want ! Also, I appreciated the “no cellphone” policy. Having a day at the salon is so very relaxing and refreshing w/o tons of cellphones ringing or other clients talking on their phone as they get their hair cut, talking so loud that your hairstylist ir you cannot hear it understand what is being said. No worries, here !! It’s so relaxing and I can assure you, being someone who is very picky about my hair, that is honored here, not frowned upon, like many other places that I have been to. Read moreUpdate: I followed up with the stylist shortly after my first appointment because my hair was cut unevenly. Not a big deal, it happens with curly hair. When I went, the stylist acknowledged the eneven parts, and did a dry cut, just shaping one side to match the other. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes and we spent most of that time discussing how I wanted to start coloring my hair. When the appointment was over, she said her goodbyes and walked me up front. The receptionist stated that my total was $40. I asked if she'd see if the stylist would reconsider the price because it was a very short appointment and she was correcting her mistake. When the receptionist returned, she said the price was firm because of the "circumference of my head". Mind you she only touched one side of my hair, didn't style it or add any product. I paid the $40, and cancelled my follow up appointment. I didn't feel like I was treated fairly. While no one should work for free, in the service industry sometimes you go the extra step to correct something the customer wasnt happy with (in this case, it was obvious my hair was uneven). Especially if that client wanted regular service, including hair color, and regularly purchases products. What a missed opportunity. Bad form.

I feel like the ENTIRE STAFF COLLABORATED on my hair and I couldn’t be HAPPIER with the results! Becca does an AMAZING BALAGE! She also cut very FLATTERING LAYERS and my hair felt SUPER HEALTHY afterwards! When I was ready for the complete transition to full blonde, Amy (owner) handled my hair with UTMOST CARE.
